Excellent heatsink at a bargain price
Quality:This M.2 SSD heatsink is excellent quality, really well made, the back plate is polished to a mirror finish and the aluminium top is nice and chunky.Effectiveness:The secondary M.2 SSD in my PC sees very little airflow due to the awkward layout of the case. Because of that, it was idling at about 52 degrees Celsius. After installing the heatsink, it is idling at 41 degrees -- a reduction of 11 degrees. Not too shabby, if you ask me.Ease of installation:The heatsink is a breeze to install, just remove the four screws, install the aluminium part on top of the drive, align the backplate with the screw holes in the top part, screw it in and Bob's your uncle.Overall, this product is an excellent choice, especially considering that other well-known brands seem to charge twice as much for a heatsink half the size...

simply brilliant at bringing down temps and minimising throttling
fits like a glove and makes a real tangible and noticeable difference to thermal throttling once applied. excellent price too.

Decent perfomer and good value for money
Quick and easy to install. Noticed the temps on my Samsung 970 Evo Plus were exceeding 76°c which caused me to look for a heatsink for the SSD. After installing this heatsink, idle temps were slightly different. However under heavy usage, temps have been around 55°c with the highest reaching 61°c. Overall, great heatsink with a nice design.

Nice quality m.2 heatsink BUT...
I bought this for my 2nd m.2 which is positioned just below the GPU (top PCI-e socket) the m.2 is a crucial p3 1tb and this heatsink fit that perfectly and was easy to do, peel off the thermal pad protectors on both the heatsink and the baseplate, align the m.2 so you have enough of the drive at each end to allow you to slot it into the motherboards m.2 socket and also allow you to screw it down, slot the top section onto the m.2 and squeeze it together slightly while you screw it back together this will make sure you have full contact with the m.2 and heatsink. Slot it in the motherboard screw it down and done. Easy as that. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because they claim that it will not interfere with any other PCI-e devices connected to your motherboard due to its low height profile, this for me was not the case my 6700xt GPU actually touches this m.2 heatsink on the fan shroud not enough to cause any issues etc but it still makes contact. If it was maybe 1mm thinner then that wouldn't be an issue my m.2 drive is all double sided so that adds a slight bit of extra thickness. It works though and keeps the temps down which will ensure the longevity of the drive.I recommend if you are using it on a board where the 2nd m.2 is not right below the GPU on my board it is b550 Aorus Elite V2.Overall quality of the item is top its a really well made heatsink.

Excellent performance and fabulous value
I bought the M.2 2280 Pro version of this heatsink. It’s lowered temperatures by 9 to 10 degrees C. I’m using my heatsink to cool an old fashioned Intel Optane Accelerator (the 64 GB version). Please be aware that if your motherboard is a little older, like mine (an Asus Rampage VI APEX from early 2018) that the screw needed to secure the M.2 module to the heatsink may then be too short. Newer motherboards with M.2 latches should be fine.I bought the ASTARON PC Screws M.2 Screw Kit,NVMe Screw m.2 SSD Mounting Kit for ASUS Motherboard which had a longer screw which worked perfectly:https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0B3DQVNBXThe heatsink was easy to install and works brilliantly. It’s amazing value too. Thanks for reading.

Amazing. Fits perfectly in my PS5 slim
If you’re wondering if this will fit in your PS5 slim; it will as it fit in mine. I brought a M2 card without a heat sink and hoped this heating would fit and work. It did. Also, the heat sink came with thermal paste pad. Excellent stuff. I didn’t have to miss any screws etc it all just fitted.

Effective Heatsink for Mid-Range Drives, But Consider Alternatives for High-Performance SSDs
This heatsink performs well and offers a good amount of surface area for cooling. I tested it with both a Crucial P2 and a T500 drive, and it worked effectively. If you have a T500 or higher (such as the WD SN770 or 850x, or a Gen 5 drive), you might want to consider other options, especially for Gen 5 drives, as this heatsink may not be sufficient. In my Fractal Design Meshify 2 case with decent airflow, the P2 reached about 40°C, which was actually 2°C cooler than with the included motherboard heatsink. However, the T500 was a different story—it peaked at around 70°C, which was surprisingly 10°C higher than with the motherboard’s heatsink.Despite this, I still recommend this heatsink, particularly if your motherboard doesn’t come with one or for specific use cases. It works well, and for the price, it's a solid choice.

DANGER
The item has a bottom of aluminium and does not come with a heat or isolation adhesive pad.If installed touching soldering points on a PC's motherboard, it will produce an electrical short circuit of undefined results. The point was brought to the attention of the seller who did not even bother to reply let alone address the problem. This heatsink should come with an adequate warning and include in the package a silicone heat or isolation pad.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
