Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love these functional mushroom chocolates! I purchased the sleep ones, and have been enjoying one square with my evening cup of peppermint tea before bed. The quality of the chocolate is very high, and there is nothing strange or unusual about the taste. I would say I do feel relaxed when heading to bed and have noticed the quality of my sleep has very much improved since starting to use this product. I enjoy having the Alice chocolates as part of my wellness routine. I also very much appreciate that when the package arrived, it was stored in a cooler box with an ice pack to prevent melting. Even though the package arrived in the summer and it was outside for 30 minutes before I was home to grab it, the chocolates were perfectly fine!

I had a chance to try the dark chocolate! Here’s my feedback.Packaging: I really appreciated that this came with a freezer pack, because it is hot in Texas and my delivery was not melted at all. The tin is very sleek and I like that I can re-use it after for other things like maybe jewelry or anything, really. I was a little confused on how to open this, so maybe add an arrow that shows which way to slide the tin off?Taste: If I didn’t know, I would just think this is rich, tasty dark chocolate. It does not have a vitamin/mineral taste and the texture is smooth. I look forward to my chocolate square! I like that the ingredients list is simple.Comparison: I have also tried Beam dream melatonin powder form. I’m pretty sensitive to melatonin, so I liked that this doesn’t have any.Effects: I felt relaxed within an hour of taking. Not drowsy, just felt like I could chill out and go to sleep! I have a lot of anxiety, so this is perfect for helping calm me down before bed.Other feedback: Maybe make it more clear that the reishi mushroom is not a psychotropic/hallucinogen. I don’t know much about nootropics, myself.

I wanted to try both the Brainstorm and Nightcap, but I was super eager to try the Nightcap since it helps with sleep and I sometimes have trouble falling and staying asleep.I waited until the new year to begin this change in my routine. The chocolates' full effects take about three weeks––which I haven't taken them that long yet, but I'm close––so it may be early to fully say, but I have noticed a difference already for me!Brainstorm:I love starting my mornings off with an iced coffee, but I've found myself skipping or delaying my first cup of coffee and just eating one square of the Brainstorm chocolate and feeling more focused when planning out my work for the day.Nightcap:As for how I sleep at night, I'll usually stay up worrying over anything and everything, finally fall asleep after an hour or so, then wake up at least once during the night. With the Nightcap dose, I'm no longer tossing and turning numerous times before falling asleep, and I'll manage to stay asleep until it's close to the time I allow myself to wake up. Also, I'm not a morning person, and I've been feeling less tired and getting out of bed has been a little easier for me.Taste:Brainstorm: rich, dark chocolate. Solid and smooth. Does not taste like mushroomsNightcap: grittier dark chocolate, with a hint of a tea taste (from the chamomile). More earthy, not dirt-like, taste.I like the Nightcap's taste and texture better because I always like chocolate with a little more substance instead of straight chocolate like the Brainstorm.Since the tins only come with 16 total doses, I'll be ordering at least another one of each to say I've tried these for three weeks for them to reach their full effect and for my body to get into the routine.A drawback is the price of them will certainly add up, but if they continue to work for me, I will try to make them work in my budget because I think the are worth the expense and peace!

Delicious mushroom chocolate! Great for your health! Gave me energy during the day and helped for relaxation at night. Had a very pleasant flavor. A little bit expensive for the size of the bars!!

delicious and they work! I'm a huge dark chocolate lover so these were a no-brainer. They seem to genuinely have some effect on my focus and energy, and I feel like I'm not as distracted after eating these. Also, the packaging is so cute and I can tell a lot of thought went into it... they even packaged my chocolate with ice packs to make sure it didn't melt on the way over! Love a good women-owned business, and this is definitely one I support!
