Grandson does chores just to be able to put money in his new bank

So, I grabbed this piggy bank for my wee 3rd grader. He's over the moon about it, but I'll be honest, it gets on my nerves every time he gives it a go. The volume is just too loud, and there's nae way to turn it down or mute the thing. A proper headache, I tell ye.Plus, there's no mention in the instructions about how to lock it back once it's opened. A wee bit frustrating, to say the least. Took us time to figure out, but just keep holding the door, until it's not locked.They really need to sort out the volume control on this thing. It's a cool piggy bank, but the noise is driving me bonkers.

The media could not be loaded. Our Pre-K child has so much fun with this. It is colorfully decorated and easy to use. The compartment inside can hold quite a bit. The keyboard works well and reliably. Nice musical sounds add to the enjoyability. However, the voicing is very difficult to understand. But that really doesn't detract from the enjoyment. My child enjoyed put in coins and dollars and then using the code to open it. Seems to be well made and sturdy as well.

Nice educational toy. The kids really loved playing with it.

Got this for my younger brother but wound up gifting it to a coworker since they'd get more use out of it and it worked out great.
