Bose® Acoustic Wave® Music System II with 5-CD Changer Remote - White

Got this to replace my brother's remote lost in Hurricane Michael in 2018. You may not believe this but the BOSE Wave Music System survived in a mobile home that was totally destroyed by this CAT5 storm, but, sadly, the little remote was "Gone With the Wind"! Can't believe that the system wasn't ruined. Looks a little rough, but sounds just as good as the day he bought it. And now he has another remote, works perfectly! He's a Happy Camper.

Just what I wanted

I own the BOSE WAVE II music system with the CD changer. This remote advertises and is labeled for the WAVE II SYSTEM WITH THE CD CHANGER, but DOES NOT WORK. only AM FM BUTTONS WORK. NO VOLUME, SEEK/ TRACK/ PLAY PAUSE, STOP, CD CHANGER NONE WORK.

Never worked with our Radio

I ordered this replacement remote directly from the seller, who is an authorized Bose dealer. It is a brand-new genuine Bose product that works 100% perfect with my Acoustic Wave Music System II CD Changer.I'm guessing the people giving 1-star reviews probably ordered the wrong remote. There are so many different Bose Wave systems, it gets confusing. And each system has it's own unique remote. Let me try and explain:1) This remote ONLY works with the large Acoustic Wave Music System II and it's companion Acoustic Wave II CD Changer. (See attached photo for example.) These were the final models that were made from 2006-2017. It will say "Acoustic Wave II" by the serial number sticker on the back or bottom of each unit.2) It does NOT work with the earlier Acoustic Wave Music Systems CD2000, CD3000, etc. Also does not work with the earlier Acoustic Wave Multi-Disc CD Changer, made from 2003-2006. These earlier models look the same as the Acoustic Wave Music System II, but use a different remote that says "Acoustic Wave CD Changer" on the bottom. I've attached a photo of this remote.3) When I say "Does not work" I mean it doesn't work 100%. Some buttons will work, some won't, so that's why it's best to get the remote designed specifically for your unit, and all remote buttons will work properly.If you have the much smaller Wave Radio, Wave Music System or Wave SoundTouch, you need a completely different remote that works with the smaller Wave devices.Order carefully!If your Bose doesn't look big, like the one in the photo, you need a different remote.If your Bose looks like the photo, but doesn't say Acoustic Wave II in it's model name, you need a different remote.
