Works great in tight areas

I have a few more like these from different companies and all about the same size and profile. I use them all the time for carving in areas otherwise closed to larger rasps: deep grooves, small features like eyelids where they touch the eye, gorgeous lips where the planes change and curve in and out. The problem with needle rasps is they'll suddenly break unless you're very careful, so that's why I have a lot of them! I used a couple of these Xucus mini rasps on some thick, heavy polypropylene today and they did a good 1st job clearing edges and quickly shaping the surface smooth. I've had ONE needle rasp (of unknown origin) for about 30 years, used it constantly, and it's still in great shape, so that's how you want them all to be.

These files are awesome they are easy to hold and use. They are great for removing large amounts of wood before sanding. I have been looking for something like this for a long time and have bought several file sets but none of them worked good for my application.

Came quickly and they work well for small projects

Good tools. They are small and intended for fine detail work, not removing large amounts of wood. There are other tools for that. Nothing fancy about them. They just work well. The barbs are on the edges also, not just the front and back.
