A fine nib, but there's no difference between this and the medium one.
I bought this to go on my Lamy Safari which came with a medium nib. I bought them at the same time. I planned to use this fine nib to write small notes in the margin and to draw diagrams with. However, there is no difference between this nib and the medium nib - not the ones that I have, anyway. I like to write with a generous nib and have found the medium unsatisfactory and certainly not a medium nib in comparison with other fountain pens I have. So I have bought a bold nib, which is great to write with, but is a little wider than I would like! Thus I'm not really very happy because I now have a fine nib that's the same as the medium nib (so it's superfluous to requirements), and it seems I can't get a nib the size I'd like. I shall try buying another medium nib to see if I just got a mislabelled one. I hope Lamy might read this and come up with a proper medium nib if my problem is a known issue.Width aside, these nibs are very easy to slide on and off to change and they last well. I write most of the time with fountain pens and do appreciate being able to swap the nibs so easily (although do use a bit of kitchen paper to save getting ink on your fingers). So, to sum up, you really might not need this nib at all if you're already using a medium one.

These nibs really elevate your writing experience
This is the second nib I have of this size, I love the wait it makes my handwriting look. Its comfortable to use and its easy to exchange nibs if you want something finer.

Clearly not new, and not working properly.
This was clearly not a new nib, as it had dried ink on it, and was obviously dull/tarnished compared to my other Lamy nibs. I am a fan of reuse/recycling, so decided to hold on to it. However, it just doesn't write as smoothly as my other medium Lamy pen/nib. I'd bought this to replace a fine nib, but I'll go back to the fine one now, and put this in the bin...

Good product with miscommunication
It says (Z 50)nib set, and I meant it would be in multiple nibs say 2 or 3. To my surprise it was just one. Please rectify the wording which says set. Rest nib is good and delivery was no issue.

Smooth writing
I always love LAMY fountain pen. It is so smooth to write. The only thing is that the black ink is not black enough. If this can be improved, then it would be perfect!
