Same quality as most of the competition - at a lower price.
I have purchased many acrylic terrariums like this over the years. Most are are similar in design and assembly, but their prices seem to vary widely. This model, thankfully, falls at the low end of the range as far as cost in concerned - without sacrificing stability or functionality.Pros:- Price! You can easily pay twice as much for another brand’s version.- Completely transparent on all sides.Cons:- No instructions included. (If you have assembled this kind of terrarium before then this detail probably doesn’t matter. If you haven’t just study the picture of the finished product, paying attention to the lid and latch details. Or search similar items as some of them have assembly instructions included in stock images.)- The latch is magnetic and not very strong. It is fine for small insects and such, but should really be reinforced if being used as temporary housing for a tarantula or anything larger.- This terrarium is small! Read the dimensions before purchasing - this really should be used as a breeding or transport box for most pets.I took away one star for the lack of instructions and packaging. Otherwise I am very satisfied with this terrarium and I will undoubtedly be purchasing more in the future!

Total crap, don't waste your money
The acrylic is so cloudy that you can hardly see through it at all. I hoped it was just the film on it to protect it in transit, but even once that was removed this was just total garbage.

VERY small, not suitable for reptiles or larger insect species such as Praying Mantis
I bought this to house my Praying Mantis in but it is way too small. I attached pictures I took of her in the habitat just to show you how squished she is. There is no way that this would work for a reptiles or larger insects.Other notes is that it did not come with set up instructions so putting it together was a bit frustrating. I realized it had plastic protective lining on each side of the structure that had to be removed after I had already put it together, so I had to undo everything to remove that lining and then reassemble it again. I will be giving this to my boyfriends little sister so that she can use it for Lady Bugs or something smaller. The overall sturdiness is good minus the latch, it is a magnet and falls off very easily.

zero directions, but pretty intuitive to assemble
You get 6 pieces of acrylic, coated on both sides with protective film. There's also ring shaped rubberbands and a magnetic lock. That's it. Not directions. No picture. Just those supplies. But they are pretty intuitive to put together, especially if you pull up the listing photo. The hardest part was removing the films. I think the film was applied and then these pieces were laser cut out because the edges were almost melded to the edges of the film, making them frustrating to remove. But not impossible. Be careful as you assemble it, it only goes together one way. But some of the sides can get flipped and then your hinge holes don't line up. You put the tabs through the holes and use a rubber ring to hold them in place. The magnetic flap goes on either way but you need to make sure the polarity is in the right direction. Once installed right, it works fine.We don't have a pet that needs to feed off live bugs. But we do homeschool and my kids LOVE catching something to torment... I mean observe and learn from.... for a few days before releasing it. Currently we have a rather large grasshopper inside. The sides are crystal clear, making it really easy to observe him. And it takes up little counter space. It's a great observation product but would work fine for storing crickets for your pet bearded dragon, too.

No as pictured
No magnetic closure. This can only be used as horizontal not vertical as pictured. Useless for what I bought it for. Looks nothing like what is pictured. Vent holes are slots not holes and will allow out what I was planning to inside.

Smaller than expected
The media could not be loaded. In the video I had the top piece on backwards, it shows in the last picture, the magnetic dots on side piece and opener connect.Easy to assemble, airtight elastics to close off pegs, and it comes with extras. But I haven't had any just pop off so that's nice.I've used this for a cricket feeder for about 10 days.. which is the longest I've been able to keep them alive, not eaten by ants..Which is a major concern for keeping crickets. For the price, it's a no-brainer!! Terrariums/ tanks are expensive already!! I do like the option of the flim it arrives already on, if your keeping a critter that is sensitive to light, like mealworms or Acadia roaches, I'd keep the film on, but for crickets they need the difference btwn day/night. And it becomes crystal clear after removal. The air holes keep it from smelling/molding. It really was smaller than expected but it's very versatile in usage and doesn't take up much space at all. And the fact alone that ants can't get into it, is a whole feature within itself!! I have had a few gnats run through the holes but a strip of sticky tape on one side will fix that In a heartbeat.

Perfect for small top medium spiders, NOT GOOD FOR JUMPING SPIDERS!
What an awesome little home for some spiders!Unfortunately, jumping spiders make their nest at the top and the only door on this is at the top, so you will destroy their little web pocket every time you open it. Not good!To the people complaining it's "opaque white" instead of clear, there is a "protective film" on both sides of each acrylic pieces to protect them!I tried using tape to lift up the corners, but I found a girl with sharp nails was much more effective at picking at the cutouts to lift the protective films. No sharp corners or edges, such a delight, perfect for my needs!

Good
thank you to everyone in the reviews saying to remove the protective film!! Was disappointed at first as it was very opaque, happy now that the film is off! Maybe a little note saying to remove protective film before use would be helpful.. I'm using it to separate the juveniles from adults in my aquarium!

NOT CLEAR!!!!
This was crap. You can’t see inside! The advertisement was for clear plastic and what came was white opaque container. 🤬

Easy to assemble
Easy to put together but if you don’t have nails make sure you have patience to remove the protective film. Came with extra elastics. Would not be good for anything that needs constant spraying as not watertight. Don’t put any arachnids who are prone to escape…magnet is sufficient for juvenile/weaker creatures. Secure enough for my whiptail
