Gadgeo Strong Two-Piece and Impact-Resistant Protective Hard Cover for iPhone 5/5s - Includes a Screen-Protector Film

This case comes in two parts - A hard outer plastic shell and a rubber inner protector. The concept and execution of this design are very good!I ordered the black version as I had read through reviews some of the colours were not as pictured. This can happen with injection moulded plastics and design concept images so if you just want a phone case, black plastic is a pretty stable colour to meet your expectations.I ordered this as well as a super strong tempered glass film. You do get a free screen protector with this purchase but its one of the standard plastic versions that are impossible to put on without bubbles and frustration. Keep it as a spare and buy a glass one. Fit that glass one before you attempt to fit this cover.Once you have your glass screen cover in place and settled (5 mins). Fit the inner rubber case to the phone, this is easy to do as it stretches into place. Now comes the challenge:Fit the hard outer case - volume button side first. Use the volume buttons as a guide and ensure they work when its fitter. Its a tight fit and you'll have to stretch the case open to do it but it can handle it.You'll be left with a super secure phone protecting system. The two layers act as a shock absorber. Hard outer layer, soft inner layer, hard phone - having that rubber between two hard points evades the usually phone to case explosion when you drop it. The outer case leaves a small 2-3mm lip over the front of the screen so even dropping it screen down wont smash it - you'd have to be really unlucky and drop it on a stone or similar and thats where your glass protector comes in..This case system has all of the benefits of the more robust (but massive) cases on the market and fits it into something less obtrusive.Its worth the money if you've paid hundreds of pounds on your technology.

This is probably the best iPhone case out there. The protection it offers is fantastic. It is not slippy in the hands and does not add much weight. Quite importantly, it is fairly easy to remove the phone to change the sim card, for instance (this is not true of all cases on the market - some, you almost have to break the phone to get it out!).This is the fourth one of these I have bought over the years and still have them all, 1 is on an iPhone 4, 1 on a 4s, 1 on a 5s and 1 on an SE - so they must be doing something right :)Anyhoo - I hope this helps my fellow Amazoners.Mickey :)

Very sturdy cover, it’s made up of two pieces the inner cover is made of flexible rubber, and the external is made of very hard plastic. This guarantees a super protection of your iphone, the downside is that make your phone looks like a big/fat old phone but if protection is what you looking for is a good product. Bare in mind that is very difficult to fit it so once done it leave it there. After 3 years I had to replace it because the external cover was damaged, and a choose a thinner cover.

Wow!! I really love this case. I have purchased many, but this one stands out by far. It is strong with a raised edge that protects the screen from a face down impact and secure corners against hitting the floor at that angle. I also like how easy it is to grip. And also it is remarkably so light in weight. Slightly bulky but not too much because it easy fits into my pocket.Sadly the only reason why not a full rating is because mine arrived with a clearly obvious scratch mark on the right front edge. Slightly surprised that it passed a quality check because anyone with eyes!!... would have easily noticed it at the packaging stage. I didn't return it or exchange it simply because I couldn't be bothered.

I've just purchased this case again after buying the gunmetal coloured one nearly 3 years ago. The old case had finally cracked round the edge after taking it off my phone too many times (it never cracked on impact or if the phone was dropped) and my phone is still in pristine condition underneath. Case isn't too chunky but still provides excellent protection - the matte material also allows good grip of the phone. Couldn't recommend a better case for the price, size and protection it provides.

arrived super quickly. Looks great and love the soft/hard combo (I've got black and purple). My expensive Speck case wore out and when I dropped my phone and the screen fractured, I knew it was time for a new case! This one is a great replacement at a fraction of the cost. Wish I could find this exact case for the Iphone 6 when I upgrade. Update - I've had this case for months and still love it. People comment on its great looks, but most important, it protects my phone! I try not to drop my phone, but every once in a while, there it goes. This case has protected my phone from pavements, door steps etc. I never had any problems with the volume buttons, fitting chargers, and the case does not add to much bulk to fit it into my pocket. Adequate protection for the back and sides but it is let down by the flimsy bit of rubber for the bottom end. The case is not the easiest to put on and to take off which is irritating, especially if you have headphones with a wide casing around the jack as it will not fit in-between the rubber to enable full insertion into the socket.Update - Jan/19. I was obviously lucky not to have dropped my phone on its face up to this point but it happened and the glass shattered, even with a tempered glass sheet covering it. I owe that to the flimsy rubber bit!

As a perennial phone dropper I need a robust case and my previous one had a crack in itThe Gadgeo case is certainly well padded and I am sure it will resist knocks but it has 2 drawbacksFirstly as other reviewers have noticed the hard case does not extend across the screen edge of the phone next to the home button so there is a strip of unsupported soft rubber that wobbles around in a rather annoying fashionSecondly if like me you stash your phone in your rear trouser pocket the ridges on the case plus it's thickness make it a bigtricky to slide in and fish out.Shame about these 2 design flaws on what is otherwise a good case
