I love this thing. its fast and the usb C has come in handy more than I imagined. A lot of people have asked me where to get one. I love that i can transfer files from a phone. It helps out in class because a lot of students have photos the want to share from jobsites and i can just put them on this drive from their phones and put them up on the projector.

This is because it's measured in Tebibytes (TiB), not Terabytes (TB). Converting 1.81 TiB to TB yields 2TB. The drive is formatted as exFAT with NTFS as an option. It is lightweight yet durable, it features a metal casing with hinged port covers that open easily, perhaps too easily (they can easily be accidentally opened or closed). Regarding a review mentioning a QR code, scanning it is not required; the drive functions identically with or without it. It achieves approximately 160MB/s (far below the advertised 1GB/s). I have not experienced any data corruption issues, and the drive becomes warm even when idle (not actively moving or accessing files). I would give this drive a 4/5 stars. The main issues are the transfer speeds and the fact that it doesn't fit in any inset, embedded, or shielded ports.
