Really sturdy, love that the top and bottom are held together by screws, feels very secure for my cat and it’s got plenty of space for her to move around.

Although this was a bit more expensive than others, it is well worth the money. Very sturdy and easy to put together. The screws and bolts are the peace of mind I needed after reading other reviews of the clips breaking! Definitely recommend this cat carrier!

I like how this carrier has screws to help keep the top and bottom attached. It's very sturdy and for my large cat it gives him plenty of space.My only dislike is the top door. I feel like one day the plastic rods will snap and my cat will end up escaping. Whenever I use the handle to lift the carrier the door bends slightly. That's the only thing stopping me from giving five stars.

Great item. Purchased to transport my parrot. *MEDIUM SIZED. Ticks all the boxes. Secure and safe. Very strong and peck proof. Some of the cheaper versions are not escape proof. Really happy with the quality and design.

The media could not be loaded. Sturdy, secure, easy to assemble, lightweight to carry.It’s my first time needing a carrier for my rabbits. It’s their first vet trip. I read a wonderfully helpfully review of this carrier, from somebody mentioning she liked the bolt feature (something I hadn’t considered to be a feature to look out for). She mentioned it adds extra security if the side clips fail or break. After reading reviews of other carriers, people mentioned the clips broke or the bottom fell off in transit and the animal fell out. So, it was a big reason I purchased this carrier, because the top and bottom can also be bolted with metal screws and not just rely on the plastic clips to hold them together. However, when assembling the carrier, the screw went in fine, but I struggled to attach the washer on the other end, it was fiddly, no helpful tool supplied to do it and I couldn’t tighten them fully with my fingers. In the end, I just used black cable ties instead of the screw bolts. Easier when dissembling for storage that way, just cut the ties instead of fiddling with a bunch of six screws.I’m pleased it can open from the top via the handle, or from the front cage entrance. The gate felt thick, rather than thin wire. The clasp feature to lock it felt very secure. I feel the rabbits will be safe and secure and can’t escape, God-willing!I bought the small 19” size because it won’t be used often, or for long journeys (vets is 10min drive away). My rabbit is the size of a small-medium cat/dog. He is a fully grown Lop rabbit, 18mth old (not dwarf or mini). In my opinion, This carrier will be suitable for a medium sized adult rabbit, or a small-medium cat. I don’t think it’s suitable for an animal of this size for a long journey over 30-45min long, as there isn’t too much space for stretching/sprawling out, or standing on hind legs. If the animal is returning from vet treatment and needing to lay/rest with minimal movement, then it’s ideal. It will also be fine for short journeys, if the animal has had exercise time prior to entering the carrier, they’ll likely stay still and sleep. For a long, lengthy journey, or for a larger cat/dog/rabbit etc, I’d suggest buying the bigger size option.Very happy with this purchase. The price was very good compared to some options that didn’t appear to be as good. My only regret is not buying the larger size, just incase I ever want to do a long journey with them (I should of thought that through better!) at least it will be easy for storage and also, the bottom section of the carrier can be used as a spare litter tray when not used for the carrier feature (yes, for those who don’t own rabbits, they can be litter trained like cats).

This is one of the best carriers I have bought. I bought a cheap one that my 2.5kg cat escped from, but this is a very well designed secure carrier. Having done small wildlife rescue for many years, I have seen the worst and the best carriers. This is definitely among the best value for money. The top and bottom parts are secured with 4 plastic clips and 6 nuts/bolts. The door has to be put in place as you assemble the carrier, its a metal door, and locks into both halves of the carrier, and also there are two metal bars that fit above and below plastic lips in the casing when the door is closed. Its very secure! Door release is a squeeze and release mechanism, which prevents cats and small dogs attempting to force open the door. I am extremely pleased with this pet carrier and recommend it. Great value for money, well designed!

I've just ordered my second one of these as they are so great! I have two rabbits and when it's time to go to the vets, I have a bit of a battle on my hands. Most carriers just have a front opening so it can be really hard to manoeuvre our furry friends inside. I was resorting to hiding treats inside but they soon caught on to that!With this carrier having a top door, you can pick up the bunnies and gently lower them in. It's also great in the car as you can open the top and reassure them.The carriers are very sturdy, even with heavier animals. One of mine weights 4kg and the other 2.75kg and it manages both with no issues.The floor can be a bit slippy though so I put a non slip mat inside so that they have traction.The door is made of metal so it cannot be chewed.This carrier comes in two sizes. It's a shame the smaller one is significantly lower in height as I feel there needs to be an inbetween size. The small is too small for one of my bunnies, but the large is a little too large. Not a major issue though, better to get one with more space than one that is too small.I did order one from Amazon Warehouse that was supposed to be good as new. However it arrived without original packaging and had fur / urine stains on it. This was sent back and I've ordered a brand new one.I would highly recommend this carried. Although there are cheaper ones on the market, considering it's functionality, I'm happy to pay the extra to have a carrier that's easier to use.

Really impressed that this carrier has screws to securely fit top of carrier to the bottom.Only slight criticism would be - you will need allen keys to attach them as they are awkwardly placed.Great carrier - appears very sturdy.
