Another amazing printer from Elegoo
I have had an Elegoo Mars printer for a couple of years and it has always been a great little printer.I wanted to step up to something bigger and the Saturn S was a perfect fit. Settled between the standard Saturn and the Saturn Pro the S model offers great value for money. The print size compared to the old Mars is impressive, it only for printing larger prints it also enables you to print a lot more in a single print. At 196x122x210mm³ the print size is impressive. The S model also has a built in charcoal filter which filters out a lot of the fumes from the printer and it really does cut the smell down a lot. I use this printer in an unventilated spare room and the filter really does seem to make a difference.Print quality is excellent and once I sorted out my spare room to a reasonable background temperature I got some amazing prints.Setup and leveling of the build plate is very straight forward. Cleaning of the vat is ok, and it is simple to ad and remove it. The only thing I don’t like is the usb slot o the side. The Mars had it on the rear which was also awkward. Why Elegoo can’t put it on the front I never know

Awesome prtiner
This was my first printer after primarily using FDM, it was simple and easy to set up and worked more a less straight away (I forgot to peel the film off the baseplate on the first run so I'm not counting that failure),One thing I did note was that the stepper motor produced a low frequency drone that carried particularly well through the walls in my house, however reducing the stepper motor speed by about 1/3 fixed that,Overall I think the fan could be a bit less loud, but I have absolutely no complaints on ease of use or print quality,For resin I've been using the standard Elegoo 8k grey resin, it's worked well so far and I see no reason to change, though I may have a go at the water washable ones in the future as it would be more convenient

Build Size and Quality Matches Commercial Agency Printing
I used this printer [and Elegoo's Water Washable Photosensitive Resin] to print parts for 7mm scale buses and railway models. The print bed is big enough to allow one side of the lower or upper deck of a 190 mm long bus to be printed in one go. The supplied Chitubox slicing software makes this all very simple. The quality of the print is at least as good as prints of similar items received from commercial print agencies previously. A commercial print agency might charge about £6-50 per cc of material used [taking into account delivery and tax] - with this machine the cost of home printing the same items comes down to about £0.04 per cc - In other words commercial printing costs about 162 times as much as printing at home. The Elegoo Saturn S is not a terribly expensive machine and a couple of print runs may well save you the cost of the machine if hitherto you have been using commercial print agencies. The only point I would make is that if you are printing pieces approaching the maximum capability, then the Elegoo Mercury Plus washing and curing station [designed for use with the smaller Mars printers] may not be big enough to cure them. I imagine that there is a larger Elegoo curing station designed for use with the Saturn series of printers but I have not yet needed one.Overall, I am very impressed with the hardware and the associated included software.

Good starter printer
As a complete newcomer to 3D printing, I was apprehensive about the learning curve. However, the Elegoo Saturn 3 made the transition incredibly smooth. The setup process was surprisingly straightforward, and the included instructions were clear and concise. The print quality is truly exceptional. The level of detail and accuracy achieved by this printer is impressive, even for a beginner like myself. One minor drawback I encountered was the locking screws for the resin tray. I found them a bit awkward and fiddly to use, and unfortunately, one of them eventually broke.Overall, despite this minor issue, I'm extremely satisfied with the Elegoo Saturn 3. It's a fantastic machine for anyone looking to delve into resin 3D printing, offering exceptional print quality and a user-friendly experience.

Fantastic upgrade
Before the Saturn 3 Ultra I had a Creality Halot One. Luckily the Creality machine died which forced my hand in getting a new printer and I made the correct choice in getting the Saturn 3 Ultra. Everything about this machine feels very high quality. When coupled with Elegoo Rapid Resin it prints more than twice as fast. The quality is unreal and so far I haven't had a single print failure just yet. The onboard WIFI just works and the Linux OS makes controlling the machine an absolute dream. Currently have 0 complaints! Would have been bonus points if they included half a kilo of resin but that isn't a huge deal. The inclusion of a USB Air filter is however a fantastic touch. As it stands, I wouldn't suggest buying any other printer on the market at this price point. Fantastic printer that has kept my love of the hobby alive!

It's great!
Upgraded from a Mars 2 pro... LOVE the bigger build size! It was the main reason for upgrading.. lolFirst comment I have is, I had nothing but trouble with leveling the build plate!I leveled it, tighten it up.. and started printing! It worked great for a little while, But then it seemed to shift and loosen... In the end, I undid the screws and took them out completely and there was some metal shavings inside! cleared it out and it works great!Second comment I have is.. The UV display/light is weaker in the center of the screen... It leaves an egg shaped hole. Using defualt settings that is...Increased the 'bottom layer/burn in' exposure time by a few seconds, and it solved the problem!Only mention it, Because... after spending many an hour looking online for help.. I found NONE that fit that description.Other than the inital couple problems, It now works like a charm! :D
