Best kitchen timer we have ever had!I bought this kitchen timer for my mom, who is not a fan of hi-technology but loves cooking, to use in her kitchen. It is a handy and beautiful timer with some practical functions that can be used for cooking, classroom management, children learning, workout time, and alarm clock. It is a great alternative tool for setting a required amount of time when working with the kids in ABA or reading sessions because it will minimize distractions from using the phones as a timer. I am happy with this little timer because we use it in various ways at home. My mom alternates her cell phone with this timer as an alarm clock to avoid exposing her head and body to EMF radiation all night. Another plus is that it has two little magnets and a small hook on the back, so we can quickly put it in the kitchen or fridge. Its back case is hard to open for batteries at first, but if you press down slightly, it will slide easily afterward. I love and highly recommend it.

I wanted a timer with buttons to push rather than just digital where you have to hold the button down for the timer to add time. Also I wanted something magnetic that would stick to the grill for outdoor cooking. I can see it from the deck when cooking, yay! Can also cook in the dark in the winter and know when it is time to pay attention. It is a little smaller than I wanted but that is ok.

Once used to set up, it's easy to manager the timing while cooking.

I'm perpetually in search of a decent kitchen timer. Maybe it's just me, but they are easily destroyed in the hostile environment of a kitchen, especially when you're cooking complicated meals, which I love to do. This timer is good but not great. It doesn't seem any more (or less) damage-resistant than any other timer I have used. It's true that you can control it with Alexa, which could minimize the risk to the timer, but that increases the risk to my cell phone. I'd rather destroy a $20 timer than a $900 cell phone, so I won't do that.So - a decent timer. If you are into the voice control/internet aspect, you will love this. If not, you may find the $20 price too high. I would have given it 5 stars, but the reset function is a total pain. This is the only timer I've used that doesn't have a CLEAR function. Instead, you must zero each button by running it to the end of its range. If you hold it too long, you must go around the loop again. So, four stars for that.

The display is sharp, crisp and clear. If only the controls were a bit more apparent, but perhaps this will become obvious over time and with increased use.
