Our family has a bunch of winter birthdays and so these lights fairly illuminate the dark birthday mornings. They are quite well made, although the switch on the battery box (which takes 3*AA, not included) appears a little fragile. There are two on settings: flashing and consistent - and the lights are nice and bright. Very pleasing.
