Rotosound BS66 Stainless Steel Billy Sheehan Gauge Roundwound Bass Strings (43 65 80 110), White Black Red Blue, Small Medium Large X-Large 2X-Large

Fitted these to my Tokai Hardpuncher and loved 'em straight away - they have bite, snap, depth and a real growl, with a unique sound - not sure why as they are very similar to regular rotosounds - must be the custom gauges and maybe the Billy Sheehan magic touch! The 110 string has great tone and definition and the light G enables snaps and pops without sounding tinny. The whole set is sublime.Recommended by this bass player of 40 years experience of playing various string types.

I first used Sheehan's strings back in the 90s. Just got back into playing bass after years away. Always loved the gauge on these with the lighter D string nice for soloing, bending and especially for harmonics. The fatter E string gives a solid thunk. Overall these strings are bright, but also mellow and extremely durable – undoubtably the best I've ever used. They're even cheaper now than when they first came out! Perfect.

I have used Rotosound strings for over 30 years and have used these signature set since they were produced,they sound great and have a great tone and suit my style of playing,always used round wound never used anything else never had too. Great product.

Great strings, brilliant tone and balance across the neck, 110 E string allows use of a Hipshot Bass Xtender without string going to slack. Delivered quickly.

Great for the Attitude bass. The only bass I run strings this heavy on but it works on that bass.

Ormai uso queste corde da un po', sono alla seconda muta, partiamo col dire che non sono solo per chi ricerca il suono "alla Sheehan", tutt'altro, vanno bene per tutti gli amanti delle corde in acciaio, io personalmente mi sono innamorato del sound del Jazz Bass con le corde in acciaio, per chi cerca un feeling diverso, per chi necessita di una scalatura particolare, questa ha per altro tantissime applicazioni, per suonare in drop, con accordature particolari, per lo shredding. Con il setup giusto le applicazioni sono innumerevoli.Sulla costruzione nulla di particolare da riferire, Rotosound produce ottime corde Stainless steel, con un rapporto qualità prezzo che ha pochi pari (se ne hai). Sono corde su cui si può sempre contare a mio avviso, ben costruite e con una buona durata, il sound è quello tipico delle corde in acciaio, acuto e "puntuto" sulle frequenze alte, ma di sicuro bello forte ed intelligibile. Se apprezzate questo genere di corde di certo non vi deluderanno.

Der Saitensatz ist top für ein Drop-C-Tuning, mit recht dünnen Saiten dazu. Schnalzen dann schön, aber nicht zu viel.Haltbarkeit ist gut, kommt an beschichtete Saiten nicht ran, aber sind dennoch nicht gleich tot nach 2-3 Proben. Der Preis ist absolut in Ordnung. Wenn es die jetzt noch als 5-Saiter gäbe...
