Un ragazzo di incredibile intelligenza e dotato di un coraggio unico.Il libro fa capire il mondo delle fake news, della distrazione di massa, la brexit, Trump, la Russia... e il ruolo dei social manipolati.Non si dovrebbe stare sui social senza aver prima letto il libro di Wylie.

Eines der besten Bücher, die ich gelesen habe. Sehr spannend fand ich, die Beschreibung von Manipulationen von politischen Themen (zB Brexit), die uns heute alle betreffen. Die Schreibweise ist auch sehr verständlich. Würde ich jedem Empfehlen, besonders, wenn man sich für Algorithmen und Daten interessiert.

It's exciting, thought provoking and eye opening. It really give you a clear understanding of what went wrong, the ethics involved and the extent of the wrong doings. Initially I thought that they were given access to data by FB not that they were actively collecting data using subterfuge; via trojan horses. The book gives enough detail such that a professional in the field could reproduce the data collection mechanisms employed at SCL. Thankfully things have improved in information technology to make such attempts more difficult in the future.Apart from the content, the writing seemed more mature than I would have though the author could produce. Either they are quite skilled in written communication or they had a very good editor.

Grâce aux réseaux sociaux, nous constituons une "marchandise" (pas gratuite pour tout le monde) qui fournit des "données". Ne nous laissons pas manipuler, cibler, arrêtons de "liker". Ce livre est une leçon très agréable à lire.Page 97: "Les cibles créaient leur propre dossier, avec suffisamment de données pour faciliter grandement leur profilage psychologique".
