Good value.
Used my new dust collector for several hours and found it can't keep up with the saw dust that the table saw produces however I noticed there was no dust cloud floating in the shop. The collector did a good job trying to keep up and clean-up was easier and less dust settling in the shop.

good quality
good dust collector for the size. Has a durable 20ft hose I recommend

Mediocre
Bag doesn't have a zipper for easy emptying, so you have to squeeze everything out of the 5" hole, which is slow and terrible design.Suction is inadequate for a surface planer. Might be fine for finer particle tools such as a table saw.Overall disappointed with the performance after my first use.

Perfect alignment with a SawStop cabinet saw.
My shop has a cyclonic central dust removal system but when I bought a second cabinet saw I found it easier to get another dust collector than to "plumb" for the additional saw in that my system is under concrete. The reason I do not give it five stars is that it seems to me that the collection bag is a bit too porous, it does not fully inflate and I therefore assume that more particles are going through the filtration system and back into my shop space. Because of how the SawStop is plumbed internally, I think it will be adequate in that single application but probably not enough volume for a typical cabinet saw or larger plainer.

Suction not that great
Open air suction is not so good! Works ok when directly connected to the the machine you are cutting with. I connected it to my Dewalt planer. The chip output from the planer force fed it and of course that worked. Naturally, when connected to a planer the bag will fill up quickly. So a 4” hose on the output does work. BUT and I say but, if you connect a 4” hose to the output of the planer that works even better!! Especially if it is a Dewalt which has a super waste output. I am sorry I made the purchase!!!

I love this thing. Powerful, soooo quiet and easy to move and store
I make a lot of sawdust. Table saw, chop saw, circular saw, belt sander etc etc. I have a shop vac to clean it all up and it takes forever after a large project. And sawdust goes everywhere... A recent project was cutting 2 inch oak into strips and the shear amount of sawdust was astonishing. I saw this and thought I'd give it a try. I wanted something smallish, powerful and easy to move and store - this scores a 10 for all of those. It comes with really nice wheels that swivel or you can lock them down. The switch is placed in a nice area to reach but never kick off by mistake. The handle feels good and is in the right place to move it or pick it up to store it. The bag is large and is easy to attach and take off with a belt style clamp. Quick and easy. Who ever designed this should get a prize, you can tell they used it in their own work shop or tested it in one. Bright yellow so I don't trip over it. When you plug it in, you know it's on but it's not loud at all. Iput my hearing protection on and can't hear it at all ( I can still hear the table saw for certain ). I can't think of even the smallest complaint. The wheels even come with a acorn style top nut, now that classy.Stop looking at the other ones and get this one, it's an absolute winner.

Much Quieter Than Expected, Excellent Suction, Need To Empty Bag Frequently
I own a handyman business and sometimes have carpentry work to do in my small home shop. I have lots of power handtools, but only two larger machines, a Dewalt 12" miter saw and a Dewalt 8 1/2" table saw. Both of those saws I was using hooked up to a 16 gal Rigid shop vac to collect saw dust. This "Woodskil 1HP Portable Dust Collector" does a better job, is easier to empty and produces far less noise. Actually, the sound pressure level may not be lower, I have no way to measure the db's, but the lower frequency tone is certainly far less annoying. I do find that I need to empty the bag more frequently than I did with the shop vac, but the bag emptying process is faster and less messy, so it's a fair trade-off. I have the sense that some fine dust particles make it through the bag that didn't escape the HEPA filter in the shopvac, but I probably breathed in more dust during frequent cleaning of the clogged HEPA filter so, again, it seems a fair trade-off. The small size and attached casters make this dust collector quick and easy to move next to whatever machine I'm using. This small dust collector works very well, especially in a small home shop, and for the low price it's an incredibly useful upgrade over a shop vac or no dust collection system at all. 5 very well deserved stars from this reviewer!
