Updated review: I am bumping up my review from 3.5 stars to 5 stars as I received excellent customer service.Honestly, it wasn't quite fair to compare this machine with DeLonghi since they are not at the same level. However, DeLonghi is the only machine I have at home so naturally it was my only comparator. The seller reached out to me after my previous review was posted and offered assistance to resolve the issues. They provided me with many suggestions/tips on brewing to ensure I'm satisfied with their product and they really worked diligently and patiently. It is very important for me to get after-sales customer service with real people (not AI) and their level of service is top-notch. I chose this over other portable espresso machines because I only paid a fraction more (like $25-ish more. I got this during their promotion) and I could get a machine that is fully automatic (no manual pumping needed) and capable of boiling water ( around 3 minutes brewing time).Original review: It's more like 3.5 stars. The machine feels sturdy and well-built. It's a bit on the heavier side but this is expected since it has a built-in 7500 mAh battery. It's very easy to use. The temperature of the espresso is hot when I use the hot brew function, perhaps a bit too hot. I also add hot water and just brew directly and the temperature is still good. I didn't notice any temperature lost. However, the taste and crema are not the same as what I get from DeLonghi Lattissima One machine. As I showed in the photos, the crema from Conqueco is much less than that from DeLonghi. I also compare the capsules after brewed from Conqueco and DeLonghi. The capsules are not pierced well by Conqueco, maybe this is why the crema is much less and taste not as strong as that from DeLonghi.

I was really wowed when I unboxed this thing. It had fantastic build quality. It’s really a solid nice piece of engineering. It looks gorgeous. It’s a little heavy but you can take this with you and you don’t need a kettle.But here’s the problem, the espresso is disgusting. It came out watery and bitter. I was able to directly compare the same pods from other portable espresso machines in my manual pump one tasted 10 times better. It also had Crema. This looks like it has Crema but it’s actually a short lasting foam that is gone by the time you pull the cup off of the bottom.This is a one to one comparison with the exact same Nespresso pods. So my $40 manual pump makes delicious Nespresso and this basically wastes a pod. I’m so disappointed. This was money that I really didn’t want to spend. But I thought it would be great to have an espresso anywhere machine.This is not that machine.

I can have my nespresso when I travel now! It is really easy to use. Just follow the instructions. The only back part is you are limited to the old style nespresso pod. A lot of the less expensive ones have gone to the flat bottoms, which work on my nespresso machine, but I guess it doesn't reach the pokey things in the inside of the machine? All I know is you can use one, but it got messy and not all the coffee dropped to the lower cup.It does take longer to heat the water, but I think that is more because it is battery powered. So it isn't a fast cup of espresso.

I normally do not have too much time to walk to the micro kitchen at work and this portable expresso machine great! I can keep it at my desk to make an expresso shot throughout the day and then clean it at the end of the day. The machine is pretty well built and for the most part has not shown any issues with leaks and such. It is very easy to setup but remember that this device is going to pour out hot expresso shot. The expresso it makes is pretty good. It is not as good as the bigger machine but it still pretty good. The devices are pretty easy to clean and it should be cleaned regularly to avoid mold growing. The express is made pretty quickly I would say it brews in a few minutes. Note that the bean you use will effect the taste. You can add milk to the shot after and have a good cup of coffee. It works great. I just have to hold it up when it is ready to dispense as there is no stand. Overall I think this expresso machine is great. It is very portable and easy to carry with you in travels if needed. It gives you a good expresso shot without needing to go to a coffee shop. The recharge process is not very long either.

I love having espresso on the go. This machine does get the job done and I think it's going to be amazing for long car rides. We got reusable Nespresso pods to use in the and they work pretty well. Even though it says you can't use them you for sure can.

If you like and need your consistent coffee/expresso daily, this is the travel machine for you. Great portable machine that's not tethered to a power outlet for hot and cold brew anywhere you are -- on a road trip, at work, hiking, at the beach, cycling, etc. Fits in backpack or large purse, it's a bit on the heavy side, but it's self-contained, including the battery. We've used for regular grounds (though more difficult to get consistent flavor because of how we pack the grounds) but it's also compatible with the original Nespresso coffee packs for consistent coffee/expresso. Directions are straightforward and uncomplicated. Assembly and disassembly is smooth, simple and easy to clean. Overall, it's not inexpensive; but compared to buying expresso on the road or enjoying your drink without the inconvenience and time waste of searching for the right cafe, this becomes worth the cost (eventually that is, after we dollar cost average all the money we'd shell out otherwise).

This is the coolest thing I have to use when I go camping! My Hubby and I are Nespresso addicts and hate going on vacation where we can't enjoy our usual Nespresso shots. This little machine works so efficiently and pops out shots like it's no one's business. It is easy to charge, easy to clean and small enough to fit in a backpack with all of it's accessories. I really love it and would recommend it to anyone who loves Nespresso shots.

After much research I decided to bite the bullet and purchase this machine for travelling Camping plus taking on my kayak. Although I have only had it for a week or so I am so pleased I decided to get this item. The taste off the coffee is truely amazing. If like me you object to paying extortionate prices just for a cup off coffee in a cafe etc then this machine is for you. Have used both Starbucks and Tesco Finest pods which dish out good quality coffee. The freshly brewed coffee is extremely hot which I was not expecting would be the case? Thought at best it would be luke warm but it is really hot. It takes around three minutes to dish out the coffee and the machine is very quiet in the process. I initially thought it was not working🥴 Although I thought long and hard about the price I am now glad I went for it. Certainly the build quality is very good. It is no lightweight. So be prepared if you are intending to take it on a long hike!? Saying that you get what you pay for? I am sure it will do me for many years. Will purchase the ground coffee pod attachment which I thought was included. Not an issue though. The pods are far more useful! Make sure you dispose off them safely folks. They can be recycled👍

I love my coffee and I love this little machine. Now I am not a fanatic. I like both sugar and milk in my coffee, which I know some will scoff at, but that is how I like it. One of the problems I have seen with other portable coffee machines is that they only brew a mouthful of coffee. This one brews a decent amount, half filling the excellent little cup that comes with it. So I have found if I make two brews one immediately after the other, I have an almost full cup. I then add the milk I like and I have a really good size of excellent, hot coffee. The machine will take either hot, or cold water. When using hot water the the coffee is brewed almost instantly, with cold water the machine heats it up, taking about two minutes. The battery is powered via a USB port and I have brewed three cups of coffe, (as above), After one charge.The machine is really easy to use and I think very well designed, even to putting a rubberished ring around the base of the cup. The cup fits perfectly onto the base of the machine. It is simply a case of insrting a coffee pod into the holder, fitting the machine to the cup, pouring water into the top of the machine and then pressing the power button for a few seconds until the machine beeps and the coffee pours into the cup once it is hot.The whole machine has an excellent feel to it and seems to be really well made.I am often sitting in bird hides for long periods and this machine will definitely be going with me in future and will also be used in my caravan which is very small and would not accommodate a large machine.All in all a brilliant machine which I thoroughly recommend, especially to those of you who would like a decent sized coffee from a very small, neat machine.

I finally decided to buy my first ever coffee pod machine, I’m more into bean to cup coffees. When I first saw the Conqueco I was quickly taken by the fact that I can use it at home and when I’m away.The Conqueco works straight out of the box, it’s easy to use, detachable, and with a capsule loading chamber. Simply drop the capsule in, close it firmly, click it into the body of the machine, add the water and you are good to go. The Conqueco is fantastic and produces a piping hot lovely coffee quickly, within 3-4 mins if using cold water or instantly if using hot water (which saves battery power).It’s very well made, feels sturdy and hopefully I will have many years of making lovely coffee. I have been trying several different pods from different brands and realised the vast amount of different coffee pods to I can choose from. The Conqueco is one of the first things to go into my bag or car when I am going anywhere and it is now also used at home several times a day.I can use tap water for my coffee, although I will need to descale it more often but again this appears to be a simple process. I will try it with purified water when I get a chance as it’s the recommended water to use. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I cannot believe just how good this device works. I am now using this as my daily coffee making machine. I have not used pod system before and was a little reluctant to use this device as I like grinding my own coffee. I have been experimenting with different pods and realised that there is a vast amount of variety of coffee to choose from. I did not want to buy a big machine due to the limited space in the kitchen. I am so pleased I have this machine. I was recently away from home in a hotel room and took this machine. I used it with the hotel kettle to heat the water to ensure that the battery did not run out as I forgot to bring the charging spell cable. I made several cups of coffee and it seemed that the battery would go on for a lot longer using it this way. I also used it with cold water but it did take a little longer to produce the coffee. Great if you do not have access to a kettle. This will be coming with me on car journeys. No need to buy expensive poor quality coffee any more on road trips. I am very impressed with the crema that it produces. The pictures show how it comes apart and how the pod is installed.

I do like a good coffee, and with my job taking me on the road all the time, it was costing a fortune buy one or two coffees a day, I bought this to keep with me and use Nespresso pods to get that real espresso taste on the go.The machine is very simple to use, firstly take off the “cup” from the bottom. Unlock the pod holder, unscrew and pop in a pod. Put it back together and put some water in the top.You then sit the espresso maker on the plastic cup, by lining up the cup so the maker sits raised rather than in the cup. Push the button for a couple of seconds and in a few minutes you have your espresso.Simple, convenient, clean and good coffee.You can pick up the pods from your local supermarket, I subscribe to a well known online selling who sell biodegradable pods for a better price.When fully charged the machine does 2 or 3 brews, I generally keep it on charge at home so it’s always ready.Love this machine, should have bought one ages ago.
