Warm ok for China

I looked everywhere for merino wool under layer that I can wear on a bikepacking trip. I'd heard it's the way to go because wool keeps you warm even if wet, cleans fairly easily and does not trap odors as much as cotton or polyester materials. After a very long time of looking, I found this to be the best value, with having both the top and bottom. It was taking a chance though, because there were no reviews to go by.Well, the temperature started dropping lately so I figured it's a good time to test these before it's time to start turning on the heater at home. They work perfectly. The thought even occurred to me to turn the air conditioner back on! After a couple of days wearing these, they still do not have any odor, so they do work in that regard, apparently.It's a good dense material. Doesn't feel heavy to wear, but they are a little heavier than a cotton core layer might. Good quality. I think the top could fit someone with a bigger belly or arms if need be. It's not too loose, and definitely fits, but I just happen to be a little more bottom heavy. I wear size 34 pants and the bottom fits perfectly. I think I might have lucked out there too, with buying from here.Not sure how much cold weather I'll be facing, for how long, but I'm considering buying another set. Fortunately, I won't have to search again and can just spring for another set of these.

I really liked this item, however after the first use I realized there was a hole at the seam. I am returning the item and hope the replacement I order is not defective.Update to original review:I reordered this base layer and the item arrived very quickly. It fits very well and is very soft. There are no flaws in the construction of the pants in this second order. The company included a complimentary neck gator.When I registered my new order with the company I reported the flaw in the first order and promptly received an email expressing the company’s desire to correct the problem. Their customer service is one of the best I have ever experienced. I have found my “go to” company for merino wool base layer clothing and recommend them because of the quality of the product and the quality of their customer service.

I bought this base layer set to wear as pajamas in the winter. I typically where a woman's large and went with the men's XL because I like my pajamas to be baggy. Overall I like the fit. The shirt fits perfect, the pants are a bit more snug than I expected. The fabric has a nice amount of stretch. They are super comfortable and warm. Plus they came with a free pair of socks, can't beat that! Definitely recommend!

I'd love to post a picture wearing these, but my wife said that'd be inappropriate. Needless to say, I'm a huge fan. I live in the southwest, and although some may think it doesn't get cold, the dry weather with the biting wind is much colder than any of my time spent in the upper midwest or the northeast. Its a bit of an "unrecoverable" cold where it's hard to thaw out. That being said, these were awesome. I got the Argyle 250g, and I must say, they really helped me get and stay warm. I also almost completely forgot that I was wearing them, except for the fact that I recognized my body temp was very well regulated. I love them! I'll probably be putting aside some money to buy a second set soon!

These mens Merino Wool Thermals are exactly what my dad wanted for the holidays. He has not ever had anything of quality so he was pretty excited to receive them. He was not disappointed by them either. He loves them and is quite happy with how warm they are going to keep him when he is out shoveling, etc this winter. They are true to size and fit him perfectly. They are so much warmer than the average thermal undergarments.They seem to be lighter weight than I would have imagined but still keep him very warm. I didn't dry them because I read someone elses review that sounded like it wasn't a good idea. I didn't have any other issues when washing them in delicate and cold.

Fits great , keeps you warm and doesn’t make you sweat when you start moving . Everything that you’ve read about merino wool moister wicking and keeping smell down is all true . I was on a 7 day hunt wore this the first 3 days and a regular spandex ploy blend under layer the 4th day . What a difference. I went right back to the merino 3 days of wearing had less smell than the poly blend and didn’t make me sweat as bad when I was moving . Lesson learned spend the money buy the merino wool !
