If you are careful, you can get this to work on 'e' series printers.
Before you buy this, there are a few things you need to know.First off - HP may block your use of this... I'll explain below.Second - the cartridges themselves are fine, and work without a hitch. You get a usual message that HP can't gurantee quality, but meh, they would say that. Now, there's a lot of websites out there that are just fulled of AI blog posts, that don't explain the nuances between HP's 'protection mechanisms' correctly, and give you eronous information. And it looks like plenty of human writers have fallen fowel of this missinformation as they repeat the same incorrect information. There are two protection mechanisms that HP employ, and these are often confused. One is 'Cartridge Protection', the other is 'Dynamic Security'.'Cartridge Protection' has absolutely nothing to do with using 3rd party cartridges. This is a function that prevents someone from stealing the cartridges out of your printer and using them in another. For example: in an office a printer might run out of ink, a lazy person might be tempted to steal the ink cartridges out of another similar machine to use in their printer - but this function prevents the cartrdges being used in a different printer than they were first used in - making lazy person's attempt at stealing the cartridges futile. As you can see, this has nothing to do with 3rd party cartridges (albeit it's unlikely 3rd party cartridges would support the feature anyway), but is useful when sharing an office with lazy people.'Dynamic Security' is the one we're interested in. all about HP's attempt at stopping you using 3rd party cartridges, and nothing to do with security at all. And unfortunately, unless you are tech savvy, it's going to be difficult in stopping this becoming a problem on certain types of printer. Dynamic Security is not often a setting you can change back, as this is built into the HP firmware. If you have subscribed to HP instant ink service, or routinely update your firmware, the chances are 'Dynamic Security' will prevent you from using these cartridges on some models of printer - particularly 'e' series. With every new updated firmware, it likely expands the cartridge brands to block. It also explains why some reviewers had cartridges that worked fine, and then didn't the next day - this is likely because the printer updated itself automatically between attempted use.I own a HP OfficeJet Pro 9012e. Strictly speaking these cartridges should be blocked. Hence why these are advertsied as not being suitable for them. That's because the 'e' series were heavily marketed by HP to use their HP+ cloud system and instant ink service, but at a lower printer cost. And in the small print of terms and conditions of those services, it states it will enable 'Dynamic Security', which will prevent you from using 3rd party cartridges. For those who aren't IT savvy, trying to avoid this could be difficult. Especially as you are prompted multiple times during the installation to sign up for it, and you are enticed into a 6 month 'free' ink special offer - nothing is for free.If you get an 'e' series printer, do not install the HP software - install the basic driver. Do not let your printer connect to the internet (I blocked mine via firewall rules in my router). Do log into the printer's web page and lock down the updates and features you don't need.Sure, you won't be able to print from the cloud - but really, who needs to?Anyway, TLDR: these cartridges work fine on my OfficeJet Pro 9012e pro, but only because I have avoided the Dynamic Security BS. You just need to be savvy about it, and enjoy great value printing.

As good as the official ones
Print Quality: I took a chance on these non-branded ink cartridges for my Epson printer, and I'm genuinely impressed with the print quality. The colors are vibrant, and the text is sharp and clear. Even when printing high-resolution photos, the results were surprisingly close to the OEM cartridges. There were no noticeable differences in color accuracy or smudging.Ease of Installation: Installing these cartridges into my Epson printer was a straightforward process. They fit perfectly, and the installation was as simple as inserting them into the designated slots. The printer recognized them immediately, and I experienced no compatibility issues. It was a hassle-free installation from start to finish.Value for Money: These non-branded cartridges are an exceptional value for the money. The cost is significantly lower than the branded Epson cartridges, yet the performance is commendable. I've printed a decent number of pages, and the ink levels have held up surprisingly well. It's a budget-friendly alternative without compromising on quality.Overall, I'm highly satisfied with these non-branded ink cartridges designed for Epson printers. They deliver impressive print quality, are extremely easy to install, and offer exceptional value for the price. If you're looking to save money without sacrificing print quality, these cartridges are a solid choice.

Caveat Emptor
The cartridges worked for a short period of time. There are instructions to stop the HP firmware updates but they did not work. Ultimately, the cartridges created a situation where my printer would work. It was very frustrating because I needed to print a time-sensitive document. I sought to return the cartridges. Service expectations have been high for Amazon after 20 years. At least in London, the return location was far from my home. When I got to the return location, the software system to accept the return did not work. I have never heard about that from a returns location. The time to install the cartridges, discover the problem, and find the time to go to the return location (twice) meant I missed the returns window. Caveat Emptor.

it works just like the origional
It works perfectly, to my surprise. I was advised to turn off the printer updates so HP could not stop them from working. All documents printed are perfect, and they have saved me a fortune. I would recommend them just so long as you remember to turn off the updates.
