I would definitely recommend this product to any Mantis or aboreal tarantula keepers. Excellent cross ventilation. Only a temporary home of course. Unless you are the proud owner of a smaller mantis species or jumping spider. Very sturdy and easy to assemble.

I have used this type of box before for my juvenile tarantulas and they work great. This is a different seller than I purchased from before and I will say, there are some differences.There is a big problem with the small bands which attach each panel. Basically, they are too thick and not very stretchy so for my fingers, it was impossible. I had to use a crochet hook to stretch them over. This is the reason I knocked a star off. Luckily, I had spare bands from my other tanks which I used instead.The panels seem slightly thicker than my other tank which isn't a bad thing.Two things to note whilst you assemble.1/ remember to peel the protective film from both side of each panel otherwise you won't see your critters!2/ the slots in the panels are smaller on one side so you have to fit the knobby things through the wider side.

Purchased for a praying mantis. The build of this little enclosure was really easy and didn't take too long at all.Only negative point was that whilst building, my cat knocked the lidded section from a windowsill onto a desk (about a 4" drop) and the little edge that allows it to pivot snapped off. I've managed to glue it back on, but I thought it would have been a bit sturdier. That being said, my little orchid mantis is enjoying her new little home.

Hi this is a great house for my snails also when I got this product I couldn't see my snails but today I realised there is a protective covering on it and it peels away now it looks like this

Easy to assemble (took minutes, even with no instructions), pretty sturdy and fairly easy to clean (you'd have to disassemble it to do a thorough job). Basically, a great design completely let down by the material, which is not transparent, meaning that you can't observe whatever you plan on housing in it! Would have been 5 stars otherwise.

I received a Praying Mantis as surprise gift from a seller as goodwill gesture but I wasn’t expecting it so I had nothing for it. But I found this enclosure at a decent price so I bought it straight away. It came next day by 1pm as I had Amazon Prime delivery and it took literally a minute to put together. I am very accustomed to these flat pack type enclosures and I found it just as easily as all the others to assemble. It works a treat for the little Praying mantis who is very small. I love that it has a magnet to secure the opening closed. I have yet to see if the air vent holes will keep fruit flies contained as they are not the smallest, but it definitely contains the the curly wing flies. So all in all works well so far.
