Skirting boards.
Cracking piece of kit, especially when the walls aren't square, makes putting the skirting on alot easier.

Makes life so much easier
My mind id blown away by this tool. You know it's a pain when you try to cut angles in wood and you get it all wrong. Brilliant 2 in 1 tool. Very easy to assemble and setup. When you need to use just adjust the angle to the wood or corner you need to cust and then det in the wood and cut. Simple as that, perfect every time. It has a angle guide to help you along. Great for wood up to 70mm or 100mm. The only downside is that the wood is not clamped in you need to hold the wood firm. Perhaps they might upgrade the next one to a clamping thing.Overall a fantastic piece of kit and great for cutting corners :-)

Great tool if you live in the house that Jack built.
Let's be honest. Very few corners in very few houses are 90 degrees. In many houses these days (the ones where you cannot buy furniture to fit (you can bet your shirt the architect does not live in it)) the corners are not even meant to be 90 degrees. This helps solve the problems.Simply push it into the corner, lock it and cut your skirting or quadrant etc. There are things that could be better (that is why it did not get five stars, but I wish I could have given it four and a half). It is quite tight to set up, I ended up lubricating the joint and the arms on mine. An adjustable height stop for back saws or a saw the correct depth with a T shaped back included with it would be useful but used with care and some intelligence it is perfectly serviceable for its purpose. The cut is reasonably accurate, certainly better than any amateur would achieve otherwise.I am very pleased and happy to recommend it.Beware, there are 2 models. The cheaper shallow one and this deeper one. If you are cutting skirting this is the one you want.

Actually really useful, and very accurate
Bought this to help speed up several diy projects for when you just want to kick on with a job, and get it done right first time without having to think too hard. Made skirting, panelling, and decking an absolute breeze.Tips for use - get something that will wedge/clamp the pieces in situ very firmly without restricting your ability to cut. Use a fine, sharp, preferably new saw appropriate for what you’re cutting. A deep saw without a blade fixing along the back will ensure the tool will cut through the material and not be depth limited by the guides.

A bit disappointed
I love wolcraft stuff and find the quality very good. I was looking forward to using this mitre block, particularly as I have some uneven walls to deal with. I just found it a bit fiddly and not much better than just judging it myself by holding up two pieces to the walls and making a mark with approximate angle. Quality seems fine but it could do with some form of clamp to hold the item in place which is being cut -s ome of my other mitre boxes have this. It works, it is well made but I can't help being a bit disappointed.

Mitre gauge
Looks very sturdy. Haven’t used it yet!, reasonable value for money, it is guaranteed for a long time though!

The best yet
After many attempts, and failures , I can now cut mitre joints , my attempts with this are unrecognisable to my previous attempts , I was cutting skirting boards , this can handle up to 100mm tall , any bigger and this is no use to you , my cuts were ...almost perfect .....I will still use filler , but I am a perfectionist , I could probably get away with with out filler ....the cuts are that good , I would recommend

Great bit of Kit
My first time doing skirting/kickboards. this item made it so much easier. After practising on a couple of scraps I went for the main job and not only does it look good the boards fit almost perfectly, the more I used it the better I got, so hopefully by the time I do the rest of the house it should look like a pro has done the job :) ...My only niggle is that the black rollers that allow the saw to operate smoothly are a little brittle and kept chipping ...
