I used this to steam glutinous rice. I’ve used several different cloth variations for steaming my glutinous rice but none was to my satisfaction. It needs to have small holes, but not too big and not too small; it needs to be able to handle moisture properly so the rice doesn’t absorb too much water, or too little water ; it needs to have certain softness and crispness for being able to get into my steamer and allows the rice to spread evenly. Once rice is cooked, it shouldn’t stick to it at all for obvious reasons. It is easy to clean and wash.Well, after many years, and trials, I’ve finally found one that checked all those points and I’m extremely happy! This was an excellent purchase!
