Excellent product, Beats other brands in quality!
When I buy anything I do a lot of research. Compared to adjustable sets my friends have and other reviews I decided to give Snode a shot. I’m not disappointed one bit. The iron has been my friend for many years. These dumbbells feel sturdy and balanced in your hands. The grip circumference is perfect. The plates feel smooth not jagged(did shirtless squats with dumbbells on my traps). I choose these over nuobell and other brands because of the drop tests I’ve seen too, ease of changing weights and overall engineering. Hopefully people catch on to this brand because their customer service goes above and beyond. Way more convenient than buying a whole rack. Givem a try!

Worth it!
Great dumbbells! Easy to switch between different weights (10 lbs increments). The cast iron plates look and feel like high quality and are very smooth. A couple of plates were stuck due to the coating and customer support was very quick to assist. A little pricey but worth it!

Truly drop-proof adjustables worth every penny
I purchased these after replacing my Bowflex adjustables because the plates kept coming off the handle. These guys are rock solid and use a different design. "Drop proof". Highly recommend.

Sturdy, smart interlock system, can be improved
The interlocking mechanism of the plates is ingenious and fool proof. There are no plastic parts between the weight plates (they are tightly packed with each other), which means there is nothing that can break in case of a fall or setting them down not perfectly parallel to the floor (as it might happen with other brands.)The weight is increased by adding plates from the center to the outside, so there are no single "hanging" plates in the middle (i.e. between the lowest and the highest setting): the weight is always uniformly distributed along the dumbbell, no matter the weight selected. All materials are sturdy and not flimsy in the least. No cheap plastic to be seen.I purchased 2 dumbbells about 6 months ago from the Amazon Warehouse. I was lucky to find them as there was little stock and the price for new was really high due to demand/COVID. Maybe for this reason I will end up giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for the following reasons:- quality control should be stricter: although fully functional and with no defects, both dumbbells make noise when moved around because the cosmetic ring covers near the handle are not staying in place. It is not a big deal and it doesn't affect functionality, but it does make some clinking noise when moving them around while exercising.- the selection of the weight should be smoother - sometimes it gets slightly stuck, but it otherwise works well; usage of materials that allow a smoother weight selection might avoid that. Please note that the dovetail at the end of the last plate will be, literally, a pain in your leg, when you start your set with the weights on your legs (e.g., bench presses before you lie on the bench). I understand the necessity of the insert popping out of the last plate to connect to the next one, but a better solution with no hard edges should be found by SNode. Also: I don't recommend these dumbbells if you often do workouts with varying-weight sets, performed back-to-back (e.g. pyramid sets with increasing or decreasing weight). As much as the weight selection is quick, sometimes it requires more attention if everything is not aligned correctly. The weight change might not be as fast as you want to. If you allow time between sets, you should be ok otherwise. As much as these dumbbells look and are, in fact very sturdy, with no flimsy plastic parts to be seen, I advise not to let them fall on the ground (not that you should drop weights in any case!). They might not break or stop working like other brands might, but I wouldn't test it or make them drop a thing of habit. All being said, I would recommend them wholeheartedly, keeping in mind the above considerations/notes.PS: kudos to the excellent packaging!

Perfect home gym accessory!
I can’t say enough good about these dumbbells! They feel exactly like regular dumbbells, and they take up way less space than a whole dumbbell rack. The cast iron design makes them feel incredibly sturdy. The handle is wide, which I prefer over thinner handles. Setup is incredibly simple, and changing the weight is as easy as turning the dial. Absolutely worth the price!

Durable, heavy duty, and well-made
After one of my Core Home Fitness adjustable dumbells broke (wouldn't adjust below 20 lbs for some reason) I decided to get some good adjustable weights that could go up to at least 80lbs. I researched Nuobells, Trulaps, Powerblocks, etc, but settled on Snode dumb bells after seeing reviewer after reviewer praise them for their durability. They have definitely met up to my expectations, they're heavy duty and almost entirely made out of metal. They feel very high quality and I'm happy with the knurling on the handles (and their thickness!). I would occasionally get blisters from using my Core Home Fitness dumbells if I held them too high on the handle and my hand rubbed too close to the weights themselves, but they way they designed these makes that impossible. Zero problems so far. The 10lb jumps between weights is obviously the biggest negative but I bought the magnets and find that it's a fine work around (would be nice if they designed something more flat and round that you could stack on both ends though) and the magnets are versatile--I regularly slap them on my weight plates or the weight stack that comes with my lat pulldown machine.

Incredible Product
After I bought this expensive set, I immediately had buyers remorse as I was spammed with other deals for like $200. But that was before I took delivery. When my decision arrived, it was so solid you can keep that cheep crap. The toggling between weight is effortless. The grips (which all true lifters know) are paramount and these are a perfect fit with the abrasive touch. And the bench, forget about it!!! So incredibly sturdy it doesn't budge no matter how much weight I'm throwing around. My only knock on this product is the weight it takes to make the bench that stable. It's 180lbs and a workout in itself just moving around. If you don't have to move it your gold. Solid purchase.
