This was not like the Stitch Witchery I knew from past years. It didn't have to be but instructions would have been helpful. I got it to work but I'm not confident I did it correctly.

Does the job of creating a hem, but no instructions or descriptions come with it. Nothing a quick google can't fix, and I'm sure those with more sewing experience know what's what. Curious though to see how long it will last on the curtain hems.

I have many pants that are way too long for me, and while I can sort of sew, I keep putting it off because it's always such a big long project. With this, I put it off because it feels like such a big commitment to start involving adhesive. With sewing, I can at least remove the stitches if I make a mistake. I'm reassured that it's possible to undo the hemming by applying more heat from the iron, but I guess that also means no tumble drying your clothes, especially at high heat if at all. So I'm sure someone will make that mistake with the wash one day, and I do worry about adhesive getting on all the other clothes when that happens. I'll just have to be careful!Overall, I think this is a good alternative to sewing for modifying my clothes, and I'm glad there are millions of YouTube videos showing me how to use it properly. There's also enough tape included for me to practice before making the big jump.

This double sided, iron-on hemming tape comes on two rolls - one light weight and the other medium weight. They both are easy to use - cut the length you need, iron on one side, remove paper, iron on the other side and you're done. They can be used to hem clothing so you don't have to sew them, but I use it when sewing when pins don't work - like making bags. The rolls are one inch wide, but you can easily cut them more narrow with a rotary cutter and mat. You get quite a bit for the current price of $8.99.

Easy to apply to different types of fabric. The only down side I found was there were no directions for application. Not everyone is already familiar with this type of product.Having experience with this type of product I pressed the iron down rather than moving the iron back and forth and it worked well.Great addition to the mending or sewing box.

I used it for backing on some boat vinyl I’m sewing with a French seam and I couldn’t have asked for a better look. Durable and exact to size.
