Lightweight to carry round the neck Comes with cord. Good sound, my dog is responding to it but only if the treats are high end! Wouldn't be as durable as a metal whistle as this is plastic.

He comes running every time! Highly recommend this good quality whistle which comes with a nice cord too so you don’t lose it!

This is a simple product. I have been using this same whistle for two years now to recall my dog from distance, and once trained he always responds. It’s said you should always use the same whistle tone with the same note/frequency, and I have done that but never even experimented with a different whistle sound as I felt that might confuse him, and dogs are reassured by consistent behaviour from a human whom they come to trust.I can’t comment on the experiences of reviewers who claim this whistle does not work (for whatever reason) but my experience has been 100% good. I take it on every dog walk and use it only for recall, only resorting to it maybe one walk in five as it’s usually not needed.

These came nicely packaged with a QR code to instructions on how to use. Well made, light and a nice colour, my dog runs back to me each time - lovely stuff :o)

Good whistle however disappointed with colour, not as displayed ordered “honeysuckle” came on pack said “coral” so not even the same colour :(

Anyone who owns huskies knows they can have a very selective hearing on recall so tried various techniques to improve this. Whilst the whistle is not silent (the site does actually mention this) it seems to work more than just calling. Using it as a training implement, it does seem to break our dog's focus when zeroing in on something, and combined with calling, seems to be working much better on recall.Inexpensive and works really well so would definitely recommend it.

...und hat mir geholfen, unserem ziemlich sturen und eigensinnigen Labrador Retriever wenigstens einen halbwegs sicheren Rückruf anzutrainieren.Es ist noch etwas Feinschliff nötig, aber es klapp schon bei Fahrradfahrern, Katzen, fremden Menschen, langsam fahrenden Autos, welche allesamt eine magische Anziehungskraft auf unseren Lab-Rüden ausüben und er aufgeregt auf all diese Dinge zustürmt.In 95 % aller Fälle klappt der Rückruf per Pfeife ziemlich gut und ist eine Verbesserung von 90 Prozent.Wo wir beide noch weiter üben müssen, ist irgendwie fressbare biologische Masse, die er in der Natur findet.Da hilft auch die Pfeife noch nicht! - Da wird erst hastig mit nervösem Blick zu Herrchen aufgefressen, was immer da auch lag, bevor dann auf Herrchen zugestürmt wird, in der Hoffnung, dass es da noch Nachschlag gibt, in Form eines Belohnungs-Leckerli. 😂Aber wir sind ja seit 4 Wochen im Training und arbeiten weiter...Die Pfeife ist nicht so laut (für das menschliche Ohr), wie beispielsweise eine Schiedsrichter-Pfeife beim Sport.Sie macht einen soliden, unkaputtbaren Eindruck.Einzig die Schnur könnte einen wenig wertiger sein.Dennoch satte 5 Sterne von mir.Wer meine Rezensionen verfolgt, weiß, dass ich immer ehrlich und möglichst sachlich meine Meinung ausschließlich zum Produkt schreibe und weder etwaigen Frust über Verkäufer, Transporteure noch mangelhafte oder beschädigte Verpackung mit in die Produktrezension einfließen lasse.Ebenso update ich meine Rezensionen, wenn sich im Lauf der Nutzungsdauer etwas meiner Meinung zum Produkt ändern sollte.Sowohl zum Negativen als auch zum Positiven!Um einen eine Vergleichbarkeit der Preise zu gewährleisten, werde ich in Zukunft die Preise zum Zeitpunkt des Kaufes mit angeben.Bestellt am 25.
