I'm a big fan of these, they don't require refrigeration, cooking is straightforward, making them a super handy and tasty way to have some potatoes to side up with something else. I typically use these a breakfast side with some eggs, or as an ingredient in a frittata. I suspect you could add a pre-cooked protein like ground burger, chopped chicken, or turkey sausage and also toss in some additional vegetables to make a quick meal.

THE EASE THE TASTE SO GOOD

I was really looking forward to trying these however they didn't really taste like potatoes. Maybe I expected too much. I really like the instant potatoe cups. I bought a 12 pack so guess I will try another and give them away if my opinion doesn't improve. They don't taste like potatoes and the texture was off.

Too much salt to eat by itself. Not bad when mixed with something.

These are terrible. No matter how long you cook them, they still taste like hard raw potato shreds. Sure, they throw in a "cheese" flavor sauce, but it doesn't help. The sauce is super salty, and tangy, doesn't really taste like a cheese sauce. Aside from lots of sugar, several different types with 6 grams per serving, it has a huge amount of sodium, 700mg! The salt and sugar is to try to make it taste good, but it's not working. It seems these are freeze dried raw potatoes that you add water to and heat. If you ever had freeze dried potatoes, you know that after you rehydrate them you still cook them. This product seems to just rehydrate them, add a bunch of salt, sugar and "cheese" sauce. Tastes like you're eating raw potatoes. To add insult to injury, these are extremely expensive for what you get, and they force you to buy a huge quantity. If you were able to buy just 3 cups or a single serve, there wouldn't be so many sales. Just awful, what a waste of money.

These taste so good. If you like shredded potatoes and cheese, you will love these. Super easy to make. Just add water, mix, and pop in the microwave. I let it sit for a bit to thicken up and eat them with ham steak. They've always arrived in good condition.

I was worried this would turn to mush when water was added and microwaved, but it does not.Even my most fussy eater, ate these and asked for more. He never likes anything out of the microwave.One recommendation, stir after heating and let it sit for a couple of minutes, it will still be hot and good, but the cheese will be less runny (5 minutes will give it a velveeta shells and cheese texture
