We have been using Marseille soap in various forms (bar hand soap, liquid hand soap, liquid detergent, solid soap shavings as detergent, a stain remover stick) for years and years. It's not cheap, but the gentleness of the olive oil - based soap plus the pleasant but gentle scent of the olive oil (or other scents; they offer a lot!) are a combination that is difficult to beat. Our house has 5 members, 1 has eczema, 1 has skin rash and all are averse to strong scents (of the american laundry type). These soaps are fantastic and we love them. SO GLAD that they are now available on Amazon!

This product is everything I hoped it would be and more! The smell is so lovely and gently lingers after washing/drying our clothes. Thoroughly cleans and delivers exactly what I hoped it would—clean clothes without allergens or dyes, and left smelling so clean and fresh. I didn’t know this product is from a small family business! The product was carefully packaged, included a personal handwritten note, and sweet lavender soap. Simply perfect! This is our new laundry detergent. Highly recommended!

Bummer! Bought this for a nice extra scent to my clean laundry....I smell nothing. Clothes were clean but tide can do the same job.
