Poor gloves + customer service from seller
I purchased these gloves off of the positive reviews, but I’m immensely disappointed with the quality of the product.I own several pairs of gardening gloves and i’m a size medium in all. This glove is wide, but lacks length. It’s stiff, the fingers have no room to breathe nor grip onto anything because of how short the fingers are, and the non elasticated wrists make the glove slip off very easily, with a huge gaping gap which allows soil and other bits to enter the glove.Comfort and fit gets 0 stars from me. If my nearest post office wasn’t shut I would’ve returned them and asked for a refund. I consulted with the seller who bluntly brushed off my feedback and refused to issue a refund out of courtesy. Very poor customer service!

Great Gloves for gardening.
These are good strong and thick gloves. They are not stiff and I have plenty big movement whilst wearing them. They are thick enough to handle prickly brambles and stinging nettles. I am very impressed with them especially for such a good price. They arrived well packed and very promptly. Recommended for lady gardeners everywhere! Thank you. Very Happy :D

HAND-SOME IS AS HAND-SOME DOES!
This is a review of Briers Ladies Rigger gardening gloves (Medium). The vast majority of my reviews on Amazon are for films and film-related books, but I have added some other items that I turned to Amazon for, when lockdown struck in early 2020. In each case, I am reviewing them as I felt I had received a good item, plus good service from the supplier. These gardening gloves are a case in point.I am a keen and serious gardener, with a large range of herbaceous borders, shrubs, climbers and containers, and I also grow a wide variety of veg and fruit. Consequently, I need good clothing and equipment in the garden in all months of the year; everything gets plenty of robust wear. Gloves can be used as I prune gooseberries one day and shovel compost the next. I need to be able to handle a range of tools efficiently, whilst I wear them. They need to withstand getting wet, and then they must dry without shrinking. I don't want stitching to pop the first time I do the digging in them. I want them to protect my hands, and my wrists too for tougher tasks. They must be comfortable wet or dry, and not rub me into blisters, and they need to fit well enough to stay on as I handle tools and reach into plants.I have had a pair of these riggers style gloves for a couple of years, and I have really put them through their paces. As lockdown hit, knowing I had a busy season ahead, I was nervous that my trusty gloves might not withstand it. So I decided to get another pair, but my usual supplier had closed their doors. So, I tried Amazon, and to my joy, found the EXACT same gloves available there. They arrived fast.As it is, my old pair are STILL in one piece, but I still have my new pair to take over when they finally fall to pieces. I really think that you cannot do better for quality and serviceability, especially at this price. I award 4 Stars, as they CANNOT be used to do fine weeding, but for everything else, they are great.

Tough glove for small hands (size 6 or 6.5)
Great tougher-than-the-run-of-the-mill glove for small hands. It is difficult trying to find tough gloves for those of us women with size 6 or 6.5 hands, so I am happy to have found these gloves at a good price. Yes, they do fit. Though these are not an extremely snug fit, they are near enough to be practical to wear. There is no excess around the ends of the fingertips, which is a crucial factor. The cuff section is a bit flappy, but will give some added protection for thorny jobs I'm sure. I would also consider wearing them with very thin cotton stretch gloves underneath for extra protection in the cold winter weather, but the fit is good enough without this extra layer. All in all, I'm rather pleased with myself for having found these.

It fits like a glove!
I may not be a lady but I do have small hands and a penchant for lavender, so these gloves were right up my street. You have resonably good finger mobility with them on while it still being a pretty heavy duty glove.Put them on and you instantly look like you know what you are doing even though I have no clue. Good equipment for my no1 gardening motto 'if in doubt, pull it out' I mean foliage of course...

Good gardening gloves
I keep buying this brand and they get a lot of use. I like to have several pairs as I end up with them wet and muddy. A bit stiff when they dry out, but they soon loosen up with use. Some bramble thorns manage to get through, but not many. Although I like the open weave at the back for ventilation, I end up with nettle stings through it if I forget and twist them round my fingers to pull them out.

Robust but a blunt tool. Can still get nettled through the fabric bits
Good for grasping briers , but not great dexterity - you won’t weed easily with them , as you can imagine with the stiff fingers. I got nettled on the back of my hand , through the pink fabric bit - annoying because I have a lot of nettles on steroids to deal with ! Unlike other more ladylike gloves I had to keep taking them off to do fine movement jobs . I’ve had other more ladylike gloves with better fingers and been able to wear them all the time for every garden job and stuff in between. Probably best for picking up large ,rough stones eg If you’re a lady dry stone-Waller. I’d go for different ones next time- ones you can wear for everything, even if the finger stitching gives out after a few months !

Not great for heavy gardening work
I don't find these particularly comfortable, the have massive firm seams inside that dig into your fingers and under your nails. I have an allotment so I do a fair bit of digging and weeding, I've had these a weak and already some of the inner liner has broke off. I have been nettled through them too. And even though these are small the ends of the finger are really big and feel very clumsy.I wouldn't buy again.
