Capri Tools 10110 Premium Welding Pliers, 7.5 inch, Black, Blue

These welding pliers have become one of the few tools that always sits by my side when welding and have held up over the last year. These have replaced a few other tools that use to only have a single job. Every part of this tool was thought out very well. The tip has serrations that help to grip the welding wire to pull it back out after it melted itself to the tip. Going down from the tip, you have a small serrated hold that makes taking the mig tip off a breeze. Next on down is the cutters for the wire sticking out of the torch. Next is the larger serrated grippers that are great for taking the cup off of the torch. The handles are made of a nice rubber like material which makes them super easy to hold on to with large welding gloves on. The handles do tend to melt fairly easy, so best to keep away from the hot bits if you can. Other non advertised uses I have come up with include a chipping hammer, slag remover, and a head scratcher.Overall, a great set of pliers that I use on a daily basis. I will definitely look at getting another pair once my current pair no longer function.Pros: - Great grippy handle - Multi use (doesn't try to do everything, just the essentials) - Serrations are holding up well - Very little flex when gripping with lots of pressure - Spring to assist opening back up - Solid constructionCons: - Handles melt fairly easily

These are awesome and came right when I needed them! Fast delivery and priced well. Mine went " missing" at work one day.I run an old Motoman robot 10 hours a day...the nozzle needs cleaning every ten to 20 parts. The tip cleaner on the robot is old and useless, so a pair of pliers is crucial!After researching best deals, I tried this one. Perfect! Light but heavy duty, SHARP! Makes my job faster and efficient. Cuts, cleans and feels great in the hand. Love the spring...couple of turns and I am back out!

I am a full time welder running mostly gmaw and this tool has held up for the past 9 months without a single flaw. This tool gets used every single day throughout all my heavy welding as well as very frequent hard surfacing. Often times I'll use it as make shift punch, pry bar and whatever else I need. The hammers on it are small and there isn't any files like some have but you will not be disappointed in them, as far as I'm concerned they are the best market value around.

I absolutely love these pliers. I weld full time and have had these for 5 years and they are still going strong. They are a lot more compact and well build than other brands, most notably Harbor Freight. The cutting edges are still sharp enough to cut through .035 MIG wire with ease, and the spring is still strong.I ground the outer corners of the tips down so I can get into my torch nozzle to clean out slag when necessary but they work just fine out of the box. The grips are smooth and comfortable and they fit nicely in my belt pouch so They are always within reach.The rubber grips started to get a bit loose after a few years but that's easy enough to fix with a little adhesive.I keep looking for an excuse to buy another pair but they still work just fine!
