The media could not be loaded. If you have drywall finishing that is difficult to reach, grab one of these! The kit is all-inclusive and contains everything needed to get started on sanding drywall. The large sanding pad allows large area coverage to speed up the process while the multi-directional articulating head allows for smooth movement along drywall surfaces (think camera gimbal, sort of). The sander is also variable speed and that has been a super handy feature. The learning curve is negligible, especially if you have operated powered sanders of any sort. Use typical precautions to protect your work and for safety reasons. Start the motor at low speed and increase as needed to get the quality you want from the tool. You will figure it all out pretty quickly. The lights on the base of the tool are great for highlighting spots that need attention as you are working. For reference, the attached video is with the sander at lowest speed and using the included 60 grit paper. Removing old texture with this sander is much easier than doing it by hand. It is also much cleaner! The dust bag attaches to the pole and collects the vast majority of dust that is produced. I was skeptical about how well it would work but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is VERY effective. I didn't realize how much dust it had collected until I emptied the dust bag at the end of the day. It actually generated less dust in the room than doing it the old fashioned way with pole sanders and sanding blocks. As for cleaning the unit after use, a few taps on the floor and using the typical wet/dry vac or a leaf blower (outside of course) makes quick work of it. Be sure and keep it clean! Bottom line- this tool is absolutely a no-regrets purchase for me. I'd gladly buy it again!

Very easy to assemble and prepare for use. I hooked to my shop vac so can't speak to the built in vac performance. Still some dust but a lot less and manageable. First time using a sander like this so I made some rookie errors. Don't leave in one spot or you'll get to do more work, don't out too much pressure on one side unless you like deep swirls in that area. No fault of the sander. Does make a big job a lot quicker (Full basement finishing). I would add that the weight isn't balanced so you need to watch. Purchase more pads right away. The ones that come with do not last long. Overall, does the same job as much more expensive ones. I would purchase this again.

The media could not be loaded. First time homeowner and we are finishing the garage. Also our first time mudding and wanting to make the process faster/easier so we bought this device. Firstly it has great lighting so I can see where it still needs to be sanded. I can also adjust the speed of the sander. It also minimizes dust by collecting it through tubing into a bag. I think this device will be helpful when we decide to tackle the garage ceiling

This does the job but it is very heavy! So choose your battles wisely.

I especially like the bright led ring around the disk. It comes with a dust collection bag but I use a tank vacuum with a bag inside.Another thing is that the hook and loop drive disk is replaceable. Makes me think they plan on the motor lasting for awhile.

I needed to sand my deck without having to get on my knees. And although this machine is listed as a drywall sander "only" I took a chance because I couldn't find a deck sander. To my delight, it did a great job on my deck.
