The dial is pretty intuitive. Turn slow for seconds fast for minutes. Once you have it set to the time you want, push the face and stick it to anything magnetic. Loud too so you can hear it from across the house.

The media could not be loaded. This thing is terrible.completely plastic, horrible little screen with a ton of light bleed, and the interface to set the time is abysmal.The instructions state that rotating the dial slowly will adjust the seconds, and fast rotation will adjust the minutes. No matter how fast you rotate it when initially setting the time it will just change the seconds. You have to randomly twist the dial back and forth to get it to start adjusting minutes, and then fidget with it to reduce the seconds down to zero. Watch me try to adjust the timer to 27 mins.I am an engineer by trade so this isn't an issue of technological ineptitude- this thing is just so poorly designed.

This timer has a mind of its own. Very difficult to set the minutes quickly because it immediately starts with seconds adjustment. Direction suggests to wait 3 seconds then the minutes will adjust. This is rarely the case. Frustrating and there are others that don't have this issue.

I got this for the kitchen to have an additional timer beyond the microwave and stove. It's easy to set and has big numbers. One down side is the magnet on the back could be stronger because when you turn the dial it sometimes turns the whole timer instead of setting it.

I was excited to get it!It is so frustrating to set, I ended up tossing it. It's plastic, cheap, and a waste of time and money.Just don't do it. What a disappointment.
