The media could not be loaded.  This unit is in a small room roughly 150 sq ft. It cools exceptionally well. It is installed into a horizontal window so using double slider for the air duct holder was not an option (unless you are going to cut it..psst I'm not good at cutting lol).To fill the gap that remained, I used a piece of styrofoam from the box.Instead of having to shut the unit down every few hours to drain the pan. I bored a hole large enough to only fit the hose to release the water as it fills.The unit is on a dresser roughly 3ft tall so draining is optimal for the most part. Any excess water can be ridded by lifting the hose.Noise is lower compared to traditional window units.Make sure to grab a roll of HVAC tape because any air leaks at the window will cause the unit to work harder. I sealed the entire perimeter of the window and any section that airflow can be felt.CON(S)1. There are no wheels so it's heavy plus the box reads keep up right or you won't be able to to operate the until until it is upright for a few hours.1a. If you are using the unit without the hose to the drain pan, it is a real bummer because of all the weight to hold it and drain will cause stress to your back.2. Make sure to buy batteries for your remote AAA or you will have to climb if you set it up high.

This unit is great for a small to medium room. It produced quite a bit of water if hose is chosen to be used indoor with a bucket instead of sticking it out the window.

I was actually going to return this ac, it appeared to have stopped working after 1 day and was just blowing hot air, I just let it sit and was about to package it for return, I tried it and it was blowing cold air and has been blowing cold air for the past few days, I have turned it off and on and still working and cooling just fine. I will provide another review in a month.

Better than window units. Easy to install and remove. Being used on 2nd floor bedroom with 5 closets that open to rest of attic. Works perfectly. Worked harder when hit with high humidity but kept up.

The first day it was immaculate, but since the first empty of the water from the dehumidifier mode it feels like it doesn’t work as great, so I took a star off for that. It’s still an awesome and powerful ac, and has definitely helped with cooling and dehumidifying my upstairs bedroom. I live in Minnesota so our summer are grossly humid. It’s worth it for that alone, in my opinion.

This is a great product, my sons room was very hot, it just couldn't cool down with the air on. The directions were a little hard to follow but there is not a lot of set up. The window package you have to cut down the sliding bar to make it work properly. We have only had it a week and have not had any problems. Would highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought it to replace my old portable air conditioning units that were over 10 years old. It has been running for over a month and still working great. This week, It has been around 86F, and about 80% humidity outside during the daytime. This unit has been keeping my room at 70F and 65 humidity.It has a vent tube to get the hot air out of a window. The plastic sliding panel is movable which allows it to fit into the windows in different sizes. It also needs to drain water via the hose either into a bucket or just outside the window.It’s kinda noisy but the level is tolerable to me though.It has wheels, is not l heavy, very easy to move around.The unit seems solidly built. I am satisfied with the performance so far.

Very helpful in this extreem heat. Gives a boost to the central ac.

Muy muy fácil de instalar, limpiar y usar. Tengo con el 1 mes y estoy muy feliz. No enfría espacios muy grandes yo personalmente lo tengo únicamente en mi habitación.

While considering the BTU vis a vis your room size, it is also impotant to consider window's and their exposure to Sunlght during the day. I purchased this device for a 120 sq. feet room and I wanted to keep the temprature around 20 degree C.In the mornins after a full day of install the temrature achieved was 21 degrees, Thi is a server room and as such humidity at about 45% was inportant too. Humidity was at 31%, By the afternoon, the temprature shot up to 27 degrees C and the A/C couldnot keep up.This is due to the large window that's exposed to direct Sun light. The temprature came down in the evening, In nutshell, the A/C can't keep up with heat being generated from the window. So I will get to 12000 BTU now and return this.However, the equipment is quiet and easy to insytall and the price is right as well. I will thus want to cauytion everyone that if the room is exposed to similar situations as myself, get a higher BTU rating to begin with. And if you are using at home, only at night then this will be a great product to have for its price.
