This was a quick story of Cassie's internship at her step-father's company over the holidays. Her mother is not a nice person and only uses Cassie when she wants something. They have an estranged relationship and Cassie does not want to go home for the holidays, but the internship will help her after she graduates.Lucas Greenwood is Cassie's step-father and her new boss for the internship. When they get stranded in a snow storm after traveling for work, they realize they have an attraction to each other and need to fight it because Cassie knows that her mother will be angry and unpredictable if anything happened between them.The attraction is too hard to avoid and these two give in to temptation prompting a request for divorce and a new path for both of them. It's a quick steamy read with a sassy young girl that finds herself between her deranged mother and her step-father. I give this story a 3.5 star review.

Cassie is amazing young woman considering her lack of upbringing by her parents. Lucas tries to stay away but can’t help his feelings, though his marriage being over first is a good thing.

I gave it 2 stars because the writing and editing is actually good. The stepfather trope is not my thing at all, but I was willing to give it a shot because it had some good reviews. But at the first sex scene, I had to stop. The moment she started calling him "daddy," the ick factor shot up to 100. No. Just, no. *shudder*

This was a super sexy short read. Cassie has stayed away from her toxic mother for years and now that her mother is married, she wants to show her new husband what a loving mother she is. Lucas has figured out that his new wife is manipulative and a liar and plans to divorce her but feels for her daughter, so he offers her an internship. Once these two meets for the first time let the angst and tension filled chemistry begin. These two are smoking hot together and this book will make you blush. It was a fun read, and you will fall for Lucas instantly. Definitely a must read especially for on a cold winter day.

This might be a short read but it packs a punch. It is packed with twists and drama. Ddlg and stepdad romance make a great combination. Cassie and Lucas have so much heat and passion between them. This is a great quick, steamy and sweet romance.

Holy heavenly hotness!!!! This book may be short, but it’s definitely NOT lacking. I normally don’t do short stories, but I am extremely happy I did with this one! It checked several boxes I like… stepdaddy, some drama, and a surprise pregnancy!Lucas, whose only been married to Cassie’s mom for a couple months is sick of her. He can’t stand the woman and just wants a divorce.Cassie, whose been treated like s*** her entire life by her mom, has just received a intern job working for her stepfather. From the moment they meet there’s no denying their attraction and the hot chemistry between them. And when they’re both working out of town and get stranded things really heat up between them!This was really really good, and very spicy! I definitely recommend it!

This was a great spicy taboo short story! Lucas is Cassie’s step father but he’s found that his marriage to her mother was a sham. Cassie is not close to her mother but her and Lucas have an instant connection when they finally meet. Things escalate quickly between the two due to forced proximity by being snowed in together. I really enjoyed the insta connection and heat between these two!

I could have been ok with this if the H hadn't slept with the h mother. The ick factor was just too much.

I was waiting anxiously for this book and it did not disappoint! 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 and ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. If you’re looking for a short, spicy read - I totally recommend this book. I ❤️ man that is determined to get his way - and he does !!!
