Listen, I truly know that this item was a wonderful and worthwhile purchase for me! I am very very pleased & satisfied with my money's worth. I've had this purchase for about two months. I recently carried it along with me to a packed family gathering; knowing the sitting was going to be less than enough. My Portable Telescoping Stool Retractable Folding Seat for Adults was "the star of the show." I mean I was able to give up my initial seating to someone else without grief, while at the same time quickly setting up and sitting down on my telescoping stool. I literally carried it to and from like a nice round and unique purse whose strap can be adjusted. It is very very very lightweight. Period. Also, I weigh between 120 lb. - 150 lb. So, weight of a person does play a big part of it's capacity with this type of design.

The media could not be loaded.  First time my 12 year old daughter used it and it collapsed on her sending her falling to the ground! This was set on a flat concrete surface and it suddenly cracked and collapsed while she was sitting normally on it. I say this is a complete garbage. I regret buying 2 pairs.

I was really hoping for more use out of these stools. I liked the concept of stools that store away easily since I live by myself but sometimes I have a group of friends over to hang out and occasionally need more seating. At about $20 each, I figured they’re not going to last forever, but they should have been good for a few uses before breaking down. My friends were actually impressed with them when I brought them out, but questioned their durability. I’m not sure if I just got a faulty stool, but the only night I pulled these out for my friends to use, one of them broke. The plastic parts that lock the stool open cracked in several places, and my friend, who’s only about 170lb, fell off. For a stool that claims it’s able to hold up to 600lb, that’s a major overstatement. I think they only work if you apply your weight straight from the top and don’t tilt forward or shift around. Unfortunately we aren’t statues, so I can’t recommend these for long-term sitting. The only use I can think of for these are if you are going to be walking around a lot, like at a convention or sight-seeing, or waiting in lines, and will want to periodically sit but might not have a clean place to sit. I did see someone else bring one of these as a makeshift small table for the beach, so that might be a good use too.

I go to about 8 convention n festival a year give or take. This is the best thing i bought this year alone. There is never any seats at cons or festivals and this thing is compact and you can adjust the height at 3 different lvls. U can use it as a sit or small table to eat off of or just to put stuff on. Get one dont hesitate. So happy with it. Just wish in came on more colors.
