These are actually some pretty good skins!! I have not touched a tattoo gun in over 22 years. This is my third practice run since starting back. I wanted to practice on these skins as a cheap startup. My first two turned out just as good. Even with a completely new world of machines “rotary” they are very easy to line, shade and pack on. For this price what do you have to lose???? Give them a try, you might be just as impressed as I was!!

Nothing to complain about. Tough to clean but expected given the hobby. Definitely a great budget. If you can see your tattoo through the other side like you drew on a piece of paper with a sharpie, you're going too deep. Don't be afraid to cut into them and use a micrometer to measure your depth. I'm also a mechanic so micrometers are lying everywhere

It’s thick, which I like, but the oils on it are hard to get off so it doesn’t hold your stencil well. It’s also not easy to glide across when you’re tattooing, unlike others.

I never write a review but this skin has giving me headache, how is it that ink stain will stay more than the ink you tattoo on the skin? I will not recommend this ink. It will frustrate any beginner. 🚫 The cheaper versión allows you to feel the skin with less trouble more similar to what human skin is.

These fake skins are spotty and don't hold white. Plus they stain black and are hard to clean up.

I’m loving these, I’m obviously a beginner but these are great. If you allow the stencil to dry for a good 15 minutes, no matter how much you wipe or dab you can still see the stencil. Ink cleans off very well with Vaseline. Great for learning depth control. Big enough to do a solid piece and leave room for patchwork. You can also definitely use both sides no problem. I used up 3 of the 5 and went ahead and ordered more. Great stuff.
