The Edge of Knowledge: Unsolved Mysteries of the Cosmos

Received the book quickly as promised. When I looked at the price on the back that shows USD and CAD.....I was charged the CAD amount in USD funds!!!!!! Feel like I was ripped off and will just buy books from the bookstore instead. Not impressed whatsoever but great book so far....just bad customer service.

Krauss does a brilliant job of setting forth the current state of our knowledge of fundamental aspects of nature, including not just from his own fields of research in physics but others as well. From those descriptions he proceeds logically to identify major mysteries that remain to be solved. His knowledge is encyclopedic and the book is highly engaging. I highly recommended it to anyone with an interest in science and human consciousness.

This is a magnificent book. Profound, clear, absorbing. One just needs to be a physicist to fully grasp a few points. I found this to be a very rewarding reading, and would strongly recommend it to anybody with a thirst of knowledge.

Book arrived when promised and is a great little book on the unsolved mysteries of the cosmos. Lawrence M. Krauss is a world famous author and cosmologist who is very good at explaining these mysteries in fine detail so that the non-scientist can understand completely. I enjoyed reading the book and I did so twice.

I own several of his books and find this one too be not up to his writing abilities. Perhaps he's writing too many articles so he doesn't have time. The first 3 sections are a mostly good read.
