Silent Operation
I was tired of just DVD's and i also wanted to purchase bluray's for some old movies as they was cheaper than the DVD's.I tested the drive and i was surprised that i cannot hear dvd's, CD's and blurays spinning like my old dvd drive, now my computer is fully silent which was my aim a few years back but gave up... if i knew sooner i would have purchased this drive, after-all it is a pioneer and it feels, sounds and looks like a quality product.The only downside for me is it is not 100% black, so i can see the grey through the side panel window but i am willing to let it go.

Amazon have done it as a gray import-no UK support
Bought October 23. Worked in my PC and set up to rip my CDs to my NAS server using dbPoweramp. Has now started showing all CDs to be inaccurately ripped. My LG drivecan rip them accurately. Amazon give a UK Pioneer support number which when contacted says that they have not sold blu-ray drives since 2009 and can't offer support! A very poor show by Amazon selling things with no product support.

Always used Pioneer drivesn as they are excellent and this is no different.

Works great easy to install and programs included worked fine by going on line and using the product key
