This machine is very easy to set up and does the job. However, the water tank slowly (but consistently) leaks so I have to empty out after each use otherwise my counter will be wet. This happened with the first machine I received; I returned it to Amazon and was disappointed when the replacement did the same thing. I honestly don’t have the patience to return it again and look for another product in my price range that does as good of a job with the actual espresso so I’m just going to suck it up and empty out the leftover water after each use. But I definitely wouldn’t buy again.EDIT: Although the machine leaks, I immediately was contacted by the company’s customer service to help fix the issue. Also, aside from the leak, the machine does a great job making espresso and meats my needs. For that reason, I’m changing the rating from 2 to 5.

For months I've been studying espresso machines and waffling on whether I wanted a real machine or a small appliance. I decided to start with something small and easy. My son-in-law was visiting on Prime day, and he's an expert chef whose home machine cost $1800. He looked at the specs and said this one should make good standard espressos, which is all I really want. I'm loving it and he says the espressos do meet the standard quite well. I'm not yet great at the shiny thick steamed milk, but I'm getting better. It heats up in about 30 seconds and clean-up is a breeze. I can't know how long it will last of course, but I'll update if it disappoints. I hope for the best because I really like it. By the way, my water tank does not leak as some people have reported.

I loved this machine. Got great crème and delicious foam whenever I used it. I was very happy with my purchase until yesterday.I turned it on and did my usual warming up of the machine then while I was preparing my supplies the machine started spraying out hot water. I didn’t have anything set up to catch it so the water went everywhere and sprayed all over the counter. They only way to stop it was to turn the entire machine off. I turned it on again and was able to get my espresso. Then while prepping for my steamed milk, the water started spraying out of the espresso area again. I pressed the button several times to stop it which it finally did. I got my steamed milk and then while I was cleaning up it started spraying water again. I kept pressing buttons until it stopped.This morning I turned on the machine and all the buttons are flashing and the machine is beeping. So sad. Loved this machine. But, I expected it to last longer than four months.

Some say the water leaks. I found that it sits very specifically to prevent that. Took on vacation with. Works great!

I’ve had this a couple weeks and am impressed. It delivers espresso with a good crème when the coffee is finely ground. I have one type of espresso that delivers a flat shot but I think it’s a problem with the coffee since other brands work fine. The frother had plenty of power. My only complaint is there is still a good bit of water in the filter when you remove it to dump the coffee. You have to be careful or you will slosh a mess all over the counter.Some reviewers stated their machine turned on but wouldn’t draw water to make coffee. There is a plug in the tank that has to be removed upon set up.Follow Up- 7 weeks later it had a total melt down. Water was coming out everywhere, the lights flashing, running even when turned off…. The selling company did have great customer service and I’ve just received a brand new machine. Fingers crossed on better luck this time

When this espresso maker arrived my first impression was that the portafilter was flimsy compared to my Sylvia Racillo that I had used for twenty years before it quit working. I don't expect this one to last twenty years but it does a couple of things very well. It makes great tasting espresso with lots of crema and it truly is anti-static.

My first espresso machine and it is very easy to use. I now get up every day and make espresso before work. Now I know what I've been missing. It is delicious! I already had the grinder so this simple machine was all I needed. Does a great job of frothing the milk.

The machine is very well built and feels more expensive than it is. The espresso settings it offers are very much in line with higher-end machines. I'm satisfied with my purchase at this price point.
