Heavy Duty
This is a very solid heavy duty dehumidifier. The pump feature is highly appreciated, it makes it a very versatile option. The noise level is fairly quiet for it's size, and it works very well. Very effectively helps clear out humidity from the environment, and features like auto shut down and start make it super simple to monitor.

Very powerful
This is definitely one of the most powerful dehumidifiers I've gotten the chance to use. It works really well, easy to get going and set up, lots of convenient features. solid and durable material, a decent size for the power, super easy to set up drainage. Very well designed and definitely worth the money.

Powerful and Works Like a Charm!
This dehumidifier is a total game-changer! It pulls a crazy amount of moisture out of the air quickly, and the built-in pump makes draining easy. The auto drain feature means no hassle with emptying a tank all the time, which is a huge plus. It’s built for large spaces and does a fantastic job of keeping everything dry and comfortable. The build feels solid, and despite its power, it’s not too loud. It's worth it for anyone dealing with humidity issues!

Commercial but portable
The unit was very well packed and shipped in time. This is a portable commercial unit, very easy to transport at work site. I used it for a week at work site. It worked as a 190 pint dehumidifier should work. if needed it can be used as a residential unit too. Customer service was good. They responded quickly both through phone and email. I liked the design and pump of the unit so you don't have to worry about emptying the unit. The fan and compressor noise is reasonable. It was worth the value for the money I paid.

Efficient moisture removal, built-in pump, heavy-duty design
A powerful and highly effective dehumidifier that easily covers large spaces. The built-in pump and automatic drainage are fantastic features, making it essentially maintenance-free. It's quite big and can be loud, but the performance easily outweighs these minor drawbacks

But it, you wont regret it!
This 180-pint standing dehumidifier is an absolute powerhouse! It quickly and efficiently removes moisture, transforming my home into a more comfortable space. The large capacity means fewer emptying cycles, and it's surprisingly quiet for its size. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with heavy humidity!

Good Customer Support, But Poor Quality Units That Loose Refrig Charge After 1 Yr of Use
PROS: The Moiswell 164 Pint Dehumidifier is built like a tank and really brings the humidity down well in our 2000 SQFT basement. The noise level is very low and it is a pretty good looking unit that can set out in occupied spaces without issue. Customer support is in China, so there is a 12 hour cycle involved in email communications; however, they always respond the next day and are very responsive to any concerns - best customer support that I have ever dealt with.CONS: The humidity sensor really doesn't work so that the unit short-cycles in approx 5 minute cycles when operating in humidity control mode. (Customer Support worked with us to troubleshoot the humidity sensor, but ended-up sending us a replacement unit when it became apparent that the sensor was bad; however, the replacement unit also short-cycles on humidity same as the original unit, so unless we got two bad units, then the humidity control doesn't work.) The time mode operation is not a 24 hour timer that automatically cycles the unit on/off at the set times each day; instead it simply runs the unit for a set amount of hours and then must be manually reset again the next day.FINAL COMMENTS - We had planned to use the unit with the gravity hose and let it cycle on/off based on humidity; however, we now operate the unit using the built-in removable bucket with the humidity set to less than 30% (so that it runs continuously) and just let it run each day until it fills a bucket and shuts off. (This prevents short-cycling the compressor.) We then dump the bucket and let it go again if the humidity is still high as measured on our external humidity gauges. The unit is great in every other way and it is keeping our humidity down, so we are good using it in this manner.I still assigned it a 4-star review because they did honor their warranty and supplied a replacement unit. Even though neither unit works in humidity mode without short-cycling, it does work very well when using it with the internal bucket and its noise level is much lower than expected. Still a decent unit for the price if you can get it on sale and the manufacturer backs up its warranty.REVIEW UPDATE 5/19/2024As noted above, we ended-up with two Explorer V164 Dehumidifiers from Moiswell bc they sent us another due to problems with control using the humidity control option. (As noted above, this option doesn't work - causes the unit to short cycle which will ruin the compressor if it is allowed to continue.) Just got out one of the units the other day and found that it keeps freezing up - the refrigerant charge must have leaked while it sat over the winter. However, the second replacement unit that they sent us held its charge and still works fine. I had hoped to take it to a shop and check the unit for leaks and recharge it; however, the manual does not discuss an options for recharging these so-called "commercial" dehumidifiers. I will have to check to see if it has fittings to allow servicing the refrigerant charge, but I suspect they are not there since it is not covered in the manual anywhere. So, it looks like this unit may heading to the metal recycler - what a waste. In any case, I reduced my review from 4-stars to 2-stars =- yes I still have a functional unit, but I had hoped for more from a "commercial" unit.REVIEW UPDATE 7/5/2024The remaining functional unit now appears to have completely lost its refrigerant charge as well - it runs for hours and doesn't collect any water even when the humidity is high. We are now left with two non-functional unit after only one season of use. This is not what I expected from a $500 "commercial" dehumidifier! I am beginning to think that there are no decent residential humidifiers.
