Disappointed
I bought this case to protect my iPad from my toddler after just purchasing a 2018 iPad.I saw good reviews on this product, but hands on the detachable front cover falls of easily. The volume buttons do not align with my iPad volume controls. Although, the power button is in the correct place.I would suggest reading the instructions before attempting to fit the case. That sounds obvious, I know but we didn't initially and struggled. Also, for installation purposes it would be beneficial to have someone with nails as it can be tricky.I must admit, I am disappointed with this product

Durable, but not very practical
This product is certainly tough/rugged/durable. (Although I've not tested it by dropping it with my iPad inside.) If you *only* want something to protect your iPad, then this might be for you, but there are downsides. The included screen protector is a nice addition.- The cover doesn't stay closed very well (so don't put this in your bag and expect the screen to stay covered.) To my mind, this is the biggest problem with this case.- The stand doesn't work very well and the slightest gust of wind will knock your iPad over. (Assuming you can get it to stand up at all.)- The bezel makes it fiddly to press the "home" button.- The case adds a lot to the weight of your iPad.Other reviewers have mentioned that the case is hard to fit. It's not a two-minute job to fit, but it's hardly onerous. It's mentioned in the instructions, but the fiddliest bit is getting the volume keys to work properly through the case.Ultimately, if you want a robust case, there will be some tradeoffs, so you can't expect a lightweight, easy to fit case if that's what you're looking for. However, thinking about this product, I think other tradeoffs should have been made. (I would have returned the product had I not applied the screen protector.)

So good I'm going to order a second one
Perfect cover for me. I wanted a case/cover where the screen side of the cover was removable as the fixed ones tend to annoy me when folded back. On a day to day basis I will only use the back protector part of the case but wanted a removable front cover so the screen is protected if I take it out the house. The main case is very well constructed, it makes the iPad easier to hold and more comfy to hold. I'm confident the iPad would be well protected if dropped as the case covers the side bezels fully and the screen is now recessed inside the case so even with a face down fall it would be well cushioned from impact. The buttons fully work with the cover on and I can charge the iPad no problems. The front cover clips on when needed and I guess you could leave it on all the time if you wanted and fold it behind the iPad when using it. I'm going to get a spare just in the unlikely event that in a few years time I damage this case (or lose the cover) and can't find anything as good when I need it!

It really does fit like a glove
Finally a case/sleeve that fits the latest iPad.This is really well built. It really does fit like a glove! It’s not that hard to put the iPad inside like some of the reviews claim. I got it set up while rushing to work. The flap is the only let down to be honest. It works just fine but it seems a little thin compared to the rest of the case.I could properly chuck this at a wall and the wall would break.

Very frustrating to assemble, but probably worth it in the end.
As soon as this good looking iPad cover arrived I set to work fitting it to my iPad. I was just congratulating myself on my perfect, bubble-free application of the screen cover as I peeled back the second protective film as per instructions, only to discover - a second too late - that the screen protector came away with it and I was back to square one.......only worse, because then every speck of dust in the air was now magnetically attracted to it and it became impossible to eradicate the air bubbles on several further attempts. Having given up on that, I turned my attention to the cover itself and only got as far as instruction no 3 (of 8) which totally defeated me; after several minutes of following the instructions to the letter, using my thumbs, alternately, to 'peel back the outer TPU skin’ I ended up with very sore thumbs and nothing to show for it. My husband, an engineer by training, had similar difficulty, and had to resort to the use of a knife to get the case apart. So, initial frustration, but the end result is good apart from the lack of a screen protector.

Not quite as good as I hoped
Wanted to like this. Common sense on the assembly. Once assembled it was apparent the volume buttons on the surround weren’t aligned. Looks like the mould wasn’t quite right. Result is up volume fine but down volume not always working. As the buttons are rubber it’s not easy to realign and stay in position. I will live with it as I can’t be bothered to return but this makes me question the overall quality. Being nit picky the front cover has a lot of lateral play but to be fair it works as required.

Want a tight case that stands up to watch a program or an angle to type..........LOOK ELSE WHERE
Reading the 4 and 5 star reviews I can only conclude these people have extremely low standards, no idea or morons. As a protective case it looks good, but it does not hold the iPad firmly in place it rattles around slightly in all planes - left to right, up & down, back and fourth when shook............however, I want to also use my iPad for invoicing, banking, shopping and similar for that the angled wedge of the folding cover seemed to tick the box, oooo and it also acted as a stand to watch films......... SEEMED!!! Only it wont, the bloody thing unclips at the slightest of weight (even the weight of the iPad when standing up unclips it). The irony is that when the cover clips in it sounds sturdy, but tap it light and you’re picking it up from the floor. TBH my magnetic cover that was pants held firmer in Place than this and I got rid of that because it was rubbish. This cover will be getting sent back for a refund due to it been crap.
