GoSports Cornhole Bean Bag Toss Game Set

My husband and I had been wanting a cornhole set for several years but they were always so expensive. The ones that were within our price range, seemed to be poorly made (or so the reviews said). When the GoSports cornhole set appeared as a lightening deal, I jumped on it. It was much lower in price than other brands but the reviews were actually pretty good.I'm happy to confirm that this is in fact a well constructed set! It's solid and built to last. The only thing I am not a huge fan of, is the loud "thud" it makes when a beanbag lands on the board. This is because it's metal instead of wood, but really, it's not a huge deal. Not when you're playing outside. We've been playing indoors for now since it's been so darn cold outside. Once the weather warms, we'll be in the backyard, enjoying our new set!To play devil's advocate for a sec, the loud thud is a little annoying but because it's made out of metal, it's so easy to clean. Just use a damp cloth to wipe off the boards and you're good to go. That's especially useful if you end up spilling beer on it (which is bound to happen at some point).

Positive:1) WEIGHT. This set is very light which makes set up and portability a snap. My 11 year old daughter can get the set out and set up alone.2) Weather proof bags.3) Graphics make them pleasing to the eye (I ordered the American Flag set)Negative:1) By the time the set had been taken out and put back in the bag once, the top seem completely ripped out.2) Surface is too slick; in our experience if a player lands a bag on the board on their first throw, by the time that round is over many times that bag has inched down the board in the process of the other bags being thrown and often falls off the end of the board.3) Bags are much lighter than traditional and there is quite a bit of bounce when they hit the board. this combined with the slickness of the board makes for frustrating play.4) Boards must be on a VERY level surface or they move when the bags hit them. (might be better in a driveway than in the grass but we always play in the yard)4) After using my set only 5 times, I noticed one board is cracked by the hole (still usable, and only noticeable on the bottom but still...it's cracked) And these have been put away each time and stored vertically, so that nothing could be set on them or possibly stepped on.Overall, I would NOT recommend this product if you have used a wood set. If this is your first set and you are not accustomed to wood I think some of these things would not bother you as much. However, still think there are some quality issues with the boards since I already have a crack. While this is not a terribly expensive set compared to others, it is not cheap either and at a minimum, I expected more use, before seeing damage. I just have this set for backyard play with friends and family but the issues are frustrating enough for me to get a different set. I will keep this set for the littler kids to use but am ordering am getting a wood set for adults/older kids to play.

This is a great product!It is built very sturdy and looks fantastic! The bean bags are high quality as well.The product weight isn't that heavy so you and a partner can carry one board each with one hand (or you can carry both if your a young and strapping lad).The only issue with this product is with the slide (which for some isn't really an issue!) - once the bag hits, some times it will slide all the way back down. I am not sure how to score that kind of shot yet.Now, before you blink an eye and turn this down know this: I have tried the cheaper ones and this slide happens worse on them (you want a little slide so you can slide it into the hole, which in the case of this product is perfect). In short, I have to become a better aim and use the slide to my advantage - just a heads up for beginners, some of your bags may slide downward.Highly recommended and the look alone is worth the higher cost!

Great game for family or friends of all ages at anytime of the year! The product is well-made and I really like its portability. My only concern on buying this product based on previous reviews was the durability of the bean bags. Thus far, they have held up well and no seams have broken yet, but I will make sure to provide any updates if any seams fail in the future. Please be aware these are not regulation cornhole boards. First of all, they are smaller. The biggest difference is they are made of a lightweight plastic material and aluminum instead of the wood of standard cornhole boards. The lightweight plastic is great for portability (one person can easily carry the bag the set comes in); however, they do give the board quite a bit of bounce and slickness. I actually find these boards harder to play on than a regulation cornhole board set. The American flag design is great for those patriotic folks and is much more fun than the standard black color.

Nice game for all the family!Easy to carry, well yes and no because it is not light and not small. But it is nice to have the bag to carry it and to protect and put it.I was disappointed because after few games I have to sew one bag because there was a hole in there.The quality of the sews could be better.

This set is awesome. First of all I ordered it and it was supposed to arrive between 30 June and 6 July. I really wanted it for the 4th of July so I emailed the vendor asking if there was anyway it could arrive before the 4th. The got it to me in 2 days and well before the 4th. The board is awesome and all my buddies love it. No issues with it not being wood and bags sliding. Maybe I don't take cornhole as serious as some or I'm just lucky but it plays great. I also added the lights on the bottom via some Velcro strips you can get at Lowe's or HD and it holds them on perfectly without having to drill holes in the bottom of the board. Great product. Rugged construction. The carrying bag is also very rugged. I will recommend to my family and all my buddies in the military. Happy 4th of July and go USA!
