True to size
Having received it and checked the dimensions with digital calipers, I can verify that all the dimensions are dead on. Looks like a very quality piece, and finished nicely.

If you have a trashed cassette-carrier on a rear disc brake hub, this allows a SS conversion
I bought it as a back up for a Fat Bike (non Shimano hubs) to take on adventure. It, as advertised, is VERY heavy, as any 28 tooth, steel ring would be expected to be. I am thankful for the large tooth option, as if you had to ride a fat bike as a SS, most would need a low gear. Bolted on to a disc hub, it would be a fixed gear, needing track fork ends or sliding drop outs to get safe chain tension...So between the weight and drop out issue, I donated it to a charity bike shop for the homeless. For a 28 tooth, it could be made of AL, making it more likely to be carried to get out of backcountry with whatever chain tension is closest one can make...but I still gave it 5 stars as its cheap and as described. For someone with a trashed cassette carrier, it could keep a bike running...

Replacement, revised part (?)
I bought this as a replacement for the chainring that came with my 500w 36v motorbike kit. Something awful happened and the included sprocket ended up taking on a very slight bend, so it needed replacing to ensure I don't continue to drop the chain.Interestingly, this part I think will be a better component. The cog included in the kit had big pointy teeth, that appeared to be filed to a sharper point in some kind of manual process, where as this one looks more like what you'd expect a "bike gear" to look like, with flat teeth. In the photo you can see the kit-included 'ring on top, and the replacement part on bottom. I'm HOPING that since it doesn't have big pointy teeth, it'll better tolerate my not-quite-perfect motor/wheel chainring alignment, however it may be less forgiving; I suppose I'll find out.In any case, the chain will be applying force to the grooves of the gear vs on the tippy-top of the pointy teeth, which should help eliminate issues. Interesting to see that they're not all alike, let's hope this is the v. 2.0!

Not beveled
Not beveled on the ends of the teeth. Rough cut, sharp edges on one side. Almost like it was punched out from one solid sheet and not cleaned up..

Exactly what I needed.
Used this to change the ratio on a riding toy. It worked as wanted.
