A fantastic collection of plays by the fabulous Ken Loach. Some of his best work at the BBC. TV gold.

This is a brilliant box set at a very good price. It contains all the plays Ken wrote for the BBC. No one writes social and political commentary like he does and this box set is a fine example of his body of work. With his new film astounding the critics at the Cannes Film Festival (as well as moving many of them to tears), I'm really looking forward to seeing it when it's finally released in October. He said this film would be his last, I really hope not, as even at the age of 80 he still has a lot to say. The film world needs someone like Ken, someone you know will tackle the things that are wrong in our society in a very uncompromising way.

Watched all these previously and can't wait to re-visit even though I know some will be heart-wrenching

I am a great fan of any Ken Loach productions, but I had not seen some of the plays on this DVD box set. Of course, they were wonderful, I understand that they were considered controversial at the time, but they portray real life as it was and, unfortunately, many of the issues are still relevant today. Some were a hard watch, but well worth it.

This shows the BBC CAN get something right!!!!
