I’m allergic to mosquito bites and swell when bitten. This netting is my only line of defense. It works. And I don’t have to put chemicals on my skin.

I bought this for an upcoming safari. It fits nicely. The net hangs down as expected. It looks fine when rolled up and tucked under the top snaps as well. I haven't tested it in the wild yet, but I can't see any reason it wouldn't do what it's designed to do (bug & sun protection). I like that it will block UV rays. I was originally looking at a simpler and slightly cheaper version (no netting), but I'm happy I went with netting, as I have a feeling the African mosquitos will love me just at much as the American ones do. :S And if for some reason I don't need the netting after all, I can just roll that part up and nobody would even know.I ended buying a 2nd one - so now I have green & khaki for the trip! They can bend/ fold to fit in my luggage nicely as well.

My dad loves it especially with everything being removable!! The color is great and for the price it is amazing.

My son wore this hat and net on his Northern Tier Trek in Minnesota. The place is know for its terrible mosquito and fly swarms. He wore the hat most of the time. I’d buy it again. It was a bonus having the net built in.

I don't have an abnormally large head, but this hat is tight on me.

Je viens tout juste de le recevoir. Pas de défaut.Ce qui était important pour moi, en plus de cacher mon visage, c'était de cacher mon cou aussi. Le filet recouvre bien mes épaules donc ce qui m'assure une liberté au niveau du cou, ce qui protège davantage. D'autres modèles vus ne faisaient que mettre l'ensemble du bas du filet en motton dans le cou. Je n'avais pas confiance.Je n'ai pas besoin de la partie en tissu qui protège le cou du soleil. J'ai tout simplement plié cette partie sous la partie interne du chapeau. Ni vu ni connu.Le dessus du chapeau à une partie en filetcequi permettra une bonne aération pour les périodes très chaude. Toutefois, celle-ci ne permettra pas aux moustiques de nous piquer.Dans le cas où le filet ne sera pas utile, il pourra être replié sur le dessus du chapeau puisqu'il y a des "snaps" pour l'attacher.

Klasse Hut, der Sonne (inklusive Nackenschutz) und Regen trotzt und vor allem die lästigen Mücken abhält. Wurde auf einer einwöchigen Kanutour auf der Peene ausgiebig getestet. Auch als provisorischen Schutz beim Arbeiten mit den eigenen Bienen eingesetzt gab es nix zu bemängeln.
