Really good way to feed birds
I've only recently discovered suet logs and am finding it to be a really good way to feed the birds. They absolutely love these logs, when I fill up the log feeder they go bonkers for it, bickering and jostling for the best position to get to the suet. I've found a way to make the logs last longer, to make it a budget friendly feeding method. I cut each log into three equal parts, and put one of these cut parts into each hole in the log feeder. That way a six pack becomes a pack of eighteen. I have found that one third of a suet log just nicely fills a hole in the feeder, reaching through to the openings at both end, and this lasts a day even when the starlings find it. I've noticed that suet logs also tend to make a lot less mess on the ground than suet cakes. I'm happy, the birds are happy and I don't worry anymore about my dog eating the greasy crumbs because there are none. Fab way to feed birds.

Great value, birds love them, just beware the Magpies!
I bought a suet log feeder at my local garden centre, the suet logs there were a bit pricey but it looked so nice and I thought the logs would last for ages. I was wrong, the birds absolutely loved the logs and they were gone within a couple of days. This pack of 36 logs is a really good price, a fraction of the price I paid at the garden centre and the birds love them just as much! The smaller birds are particularly attracted to them, but annoyingly the Magpies really like them too and if you don't place the feeder somewhere they can't hang on, they decimate the logs within hours and the small birds don't get a look in!

Suet to go insect and mealworms rolls.
The garden birds love these, and at this time of year it's far cheaper to buy plenty so they don't run out. We used to feed them the fat balls but now they go mad for the diet rolls, 6 of these fit into a fat ball feeder at a time. Very pleased with them, as we must look after our little feathered friends.

REALLY POPULAR WITH BIRDS
Our bird table is full when these suet sticks arrive. Really good value. Thanks.

I’m not partial to the taste but the blue-tits love them!
I bought these for my bird feeder. I purchased the insect flavour variety because the seeded variety tends to sow weeds under the feeder. These are very attractive to blue-tits and each log is devoured in a few days. I’m very pleased with the popularity. I was intrigued by the above star ratings that included one for ‘flavour’. I gave it full marks on the recommendation of the blue-tits.

They are too narrow for the feeders so wildlife can pull them out whole!!!
I'm a regular buyer of these - all the birds and squirrels love them BUT they seem to have got narrower so wildlife can just pull them out of the feeder 😖I bought a new feeder from Suet to Go as my existing one was a bit chewed up in the hope it would solve the problem but no, the holes are too big for the size of the logs you're providing now.Six logs gone in a day, twice = absolute waste of MONEY!

The birds just love these
I regularly feed the birds in my garden and these logs are lovely soft fat with lots of goodies in them. I use them in the log feeder and also just dropped into the suet ball feeders. All the birds just love them so they do not stay arund for long as some of the cheaper suet bird foods can. Highly Recommended
