Arrived healthy and in great shape
Growing a tea plant is a first for me. As stated above it arrived healthy and strong. I have had it for several weeks and it has grown several new leaves. I am growing it to one day use the leaves but for the present and near future it is a very attractive plant with a straight vertical habit and glossy dark green leaves. I have named it "Mr. Tea!" I recommend it to anyone who likes plants and growing some of their own food.

Very healthy little guy!! It's taking off now too!
I was apprehensive about ordering a live plant from Amazon. However, I was pleased by the result. I waited about 2-3 months to write this to make sure it was doing well. It took a while to get going after transplanting into a pot, but then it really took off and is now growing like bigger by the day! Of course Inhave not had enough to drink, bug when that comes, I will update this. One branch went a little crazy and is MUCH taller than the rest. I'm considering making a cutting from it to root so I can have two. Will update with news on that too of I remember. Anyway, I was happy with it! I hope you will be too!

Beautiful Little Plant
Arrived in great condition. Very healthy, dark green plant. I transplanted it to a larger pot and it is thriving.

It is not still alive
Buying this was a splurge, so much for one little plant.It arrived green and well. Transplanted it into a bigger pot on day 2 and put it in the window. It has already started sprouting new limbs. I look forward to drinking locally sourced tea.Sadly the plant has died. It started to wilt a few days ago. I check water and that was fine. This morning the leaves are all dry. It has been in my living room window the hole time. and it has not frosted out side yet this year. very disappointed.I purchased a second plant. It lasted a few months as it slowly dropped ALL its' leaves. It too is dead. DO NOT waste your money on these over priced sticks.
