They hurt more than helped
The only element that did not cause issues was the cushion inserts. But the brace, the main element, both the braces and the socks caused more pain than not. At first they seemed like they would be comfortable, but I ended up having to remove them after an hour. My feet and ankles hurt more than before. I followed the instructions, they were not over tightened, if I hade to guess, the compression on the socks were too much and the angle on the toes was off putting. I will stick with daily stretches and forgo trying braces again.

Instructions aren't great, but seems to work okay
The instructions included with this splint weren't great. The extra padded piece (shaped like a figure 8) is intended to go across the top of your foot and up the front of your shin to provide padding from the splint. I ordered the L/XL and it's just barely big enough to fit me (size 10 women's shoe,, wider calf). The splint has velcro on the padded straps that wrap around your arch/calf, and an additional velcro strap that helps secure on top of those. Once it's on, you can adjust the angle by pulling the strap on the front of the calf. The included socks seem to be a novelty item - they don't seem to really provide a lot of support. I've had plantar fasciitis for 6 or 7 years now, and have tried a lot of braces in that time, both ones that brace from the bottom of the foot and ones that do it from the top. This one is a little different from both and seems to be helping, but it's hard to know how much is from this brace and how much is from the orthotic shoes I wear. I do like that you get two in this item.

Great idea, but quality is questionable.
I have plantar fasciitis in both my feet and it gets really painful sometimes even when I’m just sitting or laying down after a long day of work. I was recommended to try to use night splints to help alleviate any pain and help my body recover. I decide to try these out because it was advertised as a solution for plantar fasciitis. The night splint itself looked and felt well made. The part that felt questionable is the attachments to actually keep your feet in position to help reduce the pain and help it heal. The straps felt flimsy and didn’t really do a good job of keeping my feet in place. It felt like the straps were going to snap if I applied more pressure to it. I’m not sure how well this would hold up after repeated use of this device if the straps are beginning to show signs of failure so soon into its life cycle. But, when it’s working properly, it does help alleviate some of the pain that I have in my feet.

No
I have severe pain in my feet and unfortunately work on my feet all day. This caused even more pain. I tried for several days just to see if I could get used to them. I just couldn't keep them all that long and the pain never got better

As Good As What The Podiatrist Prescribed
My wife has a foot brace pretty much identical to this brace that was prescribed by her podiatrist. She has plantar fasciitis, a heel spur and swelling. She needed two but the insurance would only pay for one. That should tell you how much they overcharged for the brace. This brace is made just as well and as she said more comfortable than the prescribed brace. The brace keeps your foot from bending back when walking thus keeping the pressure off of your arch. The brace also keeps your foot aligned and helps to keep your foot straight. The straps are very adjustable for any size foot. She say's that she thinks that the brace is helping, but time will tell.

I don't notice a difference so far
I have plantar fasciitis and can't even put weight on my foot sometimes. It hurts every day, all day, and all night. I was hoping these would help, but I haven't noticed any difference in using them. I suppose they keep your foot in one position during sleep, but it makes my foot so uncomfortable I have a hard time sleeping with it on. Walking to the restroom in the middle of the night with it is not fun either. They seem made well, but I don't think they're for me.
