A year later: still Great low cost minimalist option!
BOTTOM LINE: I highly recommend these! Comfortable, functional, ergonomic, and fashionable.I have had these shoes for over a year now and can say that they are fantastic! They are a great way to checkout minimalist footwear without breaking the bank.I am a teacher and am on my feet most of the day. These shoes allow your feet and body to work the way they were designed and have helped with my foot and back pain. You definitely need to transition into wearing these if you are not a regular user of barefoot shoes. It took me about 2-3 weeks or rotating them in with my regular shoes, but now I wear the 90% of the time.I also use these as my gym shoes for weightlifting and love them for that as well. The wide toe box and flat sole are great for lifting. I wouldn’t wear them for running, but they are good for just about everything else!I normally wear a size 10.5 Mens and ordered a 10 in these. Perfect fit.To clean, I remove the soles and laces and was in the washing machine and hang dry. Have had 0 issues!

Surprisingly good quality!
The price I payed vs the quality I received do not match at all. The are an amazing deal. The are super comfy, super sturdy, and look good too. Do I expect them to last years and years and years, no. But at this price even if I had to buy a pair every year it still comes out cheaper then other barefoot shoes out there. That being said, the soles are ridged, not much feeling of the ground below the feet. I would not recommend if you have thick feet as they are a bit tight. However the toe box is super wide. The laces are almost purely for aesthetics, as the shoe firs like a sock. Hense I do not recommend for people with thick feet. But all in all happy with the purchace.

Good for getting a feel for barefoot shoes.
The Whitin barefoot sneaker was a good first pair of barefoot shoes. For the price, (especially compared to other brands) it is a wearable shoe. It was at first snug and did take a bit of adjustment, but it did fit like a glove. The wide toe box is the best part of the shoe and is quite nice. The materials do feel cheap, however. The sole is a bit slippery on wet surfaces. The shoe may be somewhat small, I might recommend a half size up. The sole wore through at the toe after eight months or so. I walk a lot for work so that might be accelerated. In general, the shoe delivers a decent barefoot experience with light padding. Consider getting an insole if you tread heavy.

A god tier shoe for the price. Destroys the pricier brands.
So far incredible, can function as a slip on even when the shoe laces are tied, material doesn't soak up all water, extremely breathable. Sole is grippy in the volleyball court and most surfaces and does not streak. They look pretty good for barefoot shoes and not irregular, can fit in. The ankle has nice padding, not support but just very cozy to wear and don't rub. Shoe is very stable and feels like you can't roll your ankle, unlike traditional shoes. I suggest grabbing a few pairs of these (running/formal style/sneaker style) Instead of buying overpriced competitors.

This shoe is worth every penny
These are my first pair of barefoot shoes and they are amazing to say the least. I mainly like to use them for daily walking, rucking (walking with a weighted 40lb vest) and for leg day at the gym. The wide toe box makes this shoe very comfortable and easy for my foot to retain its natural shape.I wouldn't really recommend them for long distance running, though. From my experience, they feel great for the first 1.5 miles and then you'll start to feel the fatigue in the forefoot area if you go any longer than that. You can definitely switch to mid-foot striking to compensate, but these shoes are not meant to be used for any sort of vigorous running (IMO)Apparently some people experienced issues with the outsole's durability, however my pair were very durable and worked in all environments. Highly recommend that you use this pair for the gym, or when you go on walks, but probably not for hiking or anything like that. I believe Whitin has a specific pair for hiking.Overall,These are a great way to ease into the whole barefoot game. The wide toe box, the sock-like feel and the price makes this shoe worth every penny.

Great shoe
Very lightweight and comfortable. I'm a size 10.5W and was a little worried with the sizing but went with an 11 and they're perfect. I've been working out with them for about a week now and they're holding up well, great value.

Needed Wide Shoes... CAUTION
Was looking to finally get into wide set shoes after having some foot pain and I decided to get these a try. I got size 13 which is my normal shoe size, but they proved to be clownishly too big (felt like Ronald McDonald walking around). I checked with the size chart and I decided to go on the smaller side, after having measured my foot. I got a size 11. Too small. Sent back and ordered a 12. Too small still. Got a 12.5. Finally felt good. The shoes themselves are comfy. I like how they "hug" your ankles. That being said, the shoes are not without issues. The sole is incredibly bendable, to the point where there isn't really a lot of support. I took out the shoe inserts the shoes came with and I put in some Dr. Scholls. Felt much better, that being said. The shoes felt fine for a few weeks. But then the right shoe started to squeak whenever I walked. This wasn't a surface issue, since the right shoe squeaked regardless whether I was walking on a hardwood floor, poured concrete, or out on the street. I've tried several things to help tone down the squeaking (including WD-40), but didn't really prove helpful. I do walk a lot and I put a lot miles on my shoes. While these shoes are decent for the time being, I'm thinking next time I'll get the real thing (Olukai boat shoes, which are over $100, but I think they'll give me more support). Overally I'm happy with what I got for the $40 I paid for them.

Comfortable, nice-looking, zero-drop shoes with wide toes.
I wear these a lot. I put in insoles to help with plantar fasciitis, and these remain very comfortable even on long walks. I like the way they look, the room in the toes, and how well they fit my feet. Whitin has become a favorite shoe brand for me.

Los mejores zapatos para quienes caminan
Son los zapatos mas comodos que he usado. Los he usado para caminar largas distancias(6km o mas) y para entrenar con pesas. Para cualquier ocasion o actividad son fenomenales.

Wrong colour and size was too big
Ordered half a size smaller and it was still too big. They also sent me green instead of the black colour I requested.
