Excellent fan for home or office
To everyone shopping for a personal or office fan on Amazon... this one is pretty good value for money.I received it (in black) promptly, well wrapped, with all the parts ready to assemble. Assembly was pretty straight forward and it works a treat! We can't figure out how to attach the centre piece/disc that has the name of the make on it - but that's not needed for its function... so not a problem.Noise levels...Pretty quiet on speed 1.Speed 2 - just the sound of a fan going round really - you can hear it on the end of the phone, but nothing intrusive. And if it's a few feet away from you - again pretty easy to ignore.Speed 3 is quite forceful I would say, and probably not needed unless you've just been for a run and want to cool off! Speed 3 isn't silent, but it's not intrusive either, but I would just use speed 3 for short bursts. You can easily conduct a phone conversation with speed 1 even if you're adjacent to the fan.Hope that helps you decide.

Works fine but made of cheap materials
Simple and basic, but does the job terrificly. The fan is nice and quiet and has 3 speeds, with a very good ‘spread’ when you have it in occilating mode.Mine arrived with a tiny nut & bolt missing. This was supposed to secure the fan cage at the bottom, but it works fine without. There is also a plastic disc supplied, which has the company’s logo on it and you’re supposed to screw this to the front of the fan cage. It’s completely pointless and I didn’t bother. The fan mechanics all work fine but the whole thing is made from the cheapest and flimsiest plastic. That said, it works nicely and is worth the 16 odd pounds.

You'll need blue tac, a tiny screwdriver and a butter knife
Good fan, quiet, powerful, supplied during a hot spell to my elderly mother in her nursing home. To put it together is reasonably easy, it's the annoying tiny nut and bolt of doom that hold the front grill to the rear grill is where the swearing starts, the world's smallest nut, a lump of blue tac holds it in place whilst tightening the equally tiny bolt. Once all put together you get your next challenge, the tilt on the head is done via a tighten/loosen larger bolt through the Swan neck under the motor. The motor is so powerful that the usual tightening needs a bolster using the tip of a small butter knife. I mean, you could use a screwdriver, but hey, let's live a little!

Decent Fan, Lasted Nearly 5 Years of at Least 8hrs a day Usage
My fan broke last night, but it's certainly put in a good inning, and I will buy another one. I bought it in May 2020 and use it every night for about 8 hours, and during the summer months, I'd probably average another 8 hours of usage during the day. I think the motor finally gave in as changing the fuse didn't help. I would highly recommend it!

Works, but could be better
The fan needs to be assembled and you are given a small bag of screws. One of them was broken and the bag was missing two screws. The fan itself was also dirty with pieces of plastic that hadn't been trimmed off. It works well once it's assembled, but you are also not given a tiny screwdriver so if you don't have one you're a bit stuffed.

Good for the price
I needed a small fan to use next to my PC rather than moving a larger one from bedroom to computer room and back everyday.Based on the weather forecast of a heatwave, I ordered and received an Ansio cylindrical one which turned out to be completely useless, so I quickly ordered this conventional type.It arrived today, and I assembled it a couple of hours ago and am now using it.Assembly was quite easy although the front grille needs to be perfectly level (rotationally) otherwise the bottom small (fiddly) screw or side clamps are out of alignment. Note: the fan nut has to be tightened anti-clockwise.Quality seems good and having 4 rubber feet rather than a flat base is a better idea. Being small and therefore light, makes it easy to carry about and locate, and the cable is adequately long.It is very quiet, even on the highest of three settings and although it's not as powerful as a larger fan, it's only 3-4ft from me and therefore adequate.I would recommend it if the distance is 6ft or less, otherwise, buy a bigger one.
