Anti Slip Tape, Grip Tape for Stairs 2" x 60ft, Non Slip Tape Safe Walk Outdoor Yellow and Black

I bought this to place on the tops & edges of metal stair steps on my camper. They'd get wet and become slippery. They are black and hard to see in the dark. I'd slipped and fallen on a wet metal step this summer when I misjudged its edge, and could have gotten badly hurt.Pro's:Excellent adhesion. This tape isn't going anywhere now that it's stuck to the metal stairs.Excellent visibility. I can see this tape much better in the dark than I could the black metal on my camper's stair steps.Excellent friction. I no longer slip on the wet metal steps.Con's:There's so much tape on the roll--I only needed about six feet--what'll I do with the rest? I should have bought a smaller roll for less $.But this stuff is perfect for eliminating slippery surfaces that are hard to see. You won't regret using it for eliminating slippery step surfaces. I'll probably look over my boat & add it to the rear ladder steps and swim platform, and also along the gunnels where people step getting in and out. I think I'll also add it to the steps built in to the corners of my pickup truck's rear end, where I step to get in and out of the box. But I'll still have enough left over to do all my outside steps on the deck, and the tree house ladder steps, and anywhere else I can imaging slippery surfaces that need excellent grip and traction.This is a good product. After using it for a season of camping, I'm satisfied. I'll update this in a year or three if I find problems with durability.

I ordered this tape for outside wood stairs from house to back yard. Waited until wood stairs were completely dry, wire brushed steps to clean, brushed debris off with broom. Installed tape and stood on tape to ensure it was pressed down to adhere properly. Weather was dry for several weeks. Problems began with rain in fall; tape edges began to come loose; tried to put heavy pressure on tape to ensure contact with steps. First one strip came loose and I almost fell down the stairs, but caught myself on railing. Two weeks later another strip came off another step while my old dog was trying to climb stairs; dog hurt her legs and limped for a while. Had 4 strips left on stairs but was afraid they would come off in cold weather. Tried stapling strips to stair treads but decided that was too dangerous.Might be good in perfectly warm dry weather or indoors, but tape is NOT waterproof or weather proof. Don't waste your money if you need safety outside. Still trying to figure out a safe way to secure steps.

The adhesive is great! I used this on the edge of a porch and steps that have a difficult surface - old wood with badly peeling paint. The last tape I used ended up having to be stapled down almost right away in order to stay in place, but so far after a week this stuff is sticking very well. The only thing that's not perfect is that I wish the black were a little darker. The last tape I used had a little more contrast and therefore stood out a little more. I'll still buy this again!

This material holds up well in a messy commercial kitchen. The main problem is the surface gets so clogged so we eventually have to replace the tape just so it looks better! Even clogged it is non-slip, so this is just an aesthetic issue.

Awesome roll of tape. Made in China but seems like it is going to do the job. It's been in place on the steps for a couple of weeks now and looks like it's going to work. If you're looking for anti slip safety grip tape, look no further. Unless you can find some American-made tape. Then I'd go with that option.

My garage is crowded, and at night it's hard to see when backing in. I used this tape to mark the floors to make parking easier. So far it's good stuff. I swept the floor first, wiped with acetone, then marked where the strips were to go. Tape was easy to apply, so far it's sticking tight. Anti-slip quality seems good, but am not using it for non-slip purposes.Seven months on it's still reflective, still sticking tight to the floor.

I own a retail store and have a step at the front door. This tape is great and draws attention. Cuts easily and sticks well. Have had it down for over a month and have not had any issues with it coming up.

It installs easy and does the job. Just tears easily in high traffic situations.

I am using this tape on a metal surface to provide traction and to prevent me from slipping. It is working very well and I am happy with this product.

Was surprised to receive such a huge roll for the price of it. Very good adhesion and easy to install. Just wish the black & yellow colours were a bit brighter but overall I am totally satisfied and will be purchasing this product again.

I was looking on Amazon for something to use on the slippery rungs on the ladder I built for my Grand Daughters treehouse. THIS TAPE IS PERFECT, it's easy to use, adheres very well to the iron rungs of the ladder and the rough surface prevents my Grand Daughters from slipping as they climb up to the tree house. GREAT PRODUCT.
